Thanks BDKawey, I got a great deal on the set that I was lucky to come across. I was thinking about painting them but I just might keep them the same color.

Interesting technique, doing one panel at a time, more or less. Whatever, looks good from here.

Looking to use this same exact paint on my car. OP, what grit sandpaper did you use before spraying base coat? I noticed you left a positive review on Eastwood's site for this paint. Kinda funny, was browsing and noticed an e28 in the pics in your review and thought to myself, "I bet that guy is on myE28!" :)

We went over it with 800 grit and did a wet sand, right before we went over it with the base coat the car was wiped down with a tack rag. Lol, yeah I was really happy with how the paint came out decided to leave a review. I want to put up a video on YouTube soon of the paint up close.

Please do put up a video! What kind of primer did you use before base coat? My car is almost ready for base, been using spraymax 2k high filler primer on all my body work. Did you primer sealer the whole car before base coat, or just spray right over what you had?

I’ll have to check my receipts for the exact brand name of the primer we used. A couple rattle can primers were also used for a couple spots I think I went through 3-4 quarts of primer because of each time an imperfection was found the spots were filled, sanded down, and primered again. Yes, we also used sealer before the base coat. Once I get some time I’ll film a video and post it.

My exhaust tips need to be re-welded if thats a word. I was backing into a parking spot and the bracket that the muffler shop welded on broke, so the right side sags pretty bad. Below is a picture before it broke.

This picture was taken before the bracket for my exhaust broke.

The BBS lip is really nice too, you should look into that old. I was also debating if I should tint my windows all around 15%. I’m not too sure yet though because I feel like the car looks better with all clear windows.
