I don't know anything about that vendor, but the item itself looks like the factory part.

That looks like it is for the Non iS/M5 front panel. The 535is and M5 had a different front spoiler with the fog lights mounted in the spoiler. The standard e28 had just the steel front panel and the fog lights were mounted in the body.

They are referring to the euro M5 valance, which this appears to be a replica. The US M5/ 535is spoiler is totally different.

Looks decent, but who knows what it actually looks like or how much work is necessary to prep it for painting. You do lose the ability to use the tow hooks and the ducting isn't there, but it would be good for poseurs.
Plus, the factory part is apparently available, so with the shipping and other BS involved in buying from Europe, I don't see the savings.

I just picked up the OEM part this is replicated from. It will run you about $150 more including the tow hook covers (they are removable so you can still use the tow hooks unlike this fiberglass piece). But you can pick it up from your local dealer and not have to worry about shipping. It will also not require any paint (if you want to run it black) and fitment is a non-issue. I also like the idea of having a flexible plastic/rubber lip instead of fiberglass. It should be a lot more forgiving to any small bumps on parking barriers etc.
That being said I just did business with Toms for some NLA in NA euro bumper covers. The service was great and shipping was fast and reasonable. I highly recommend him, just maybe not on this exact piece because of the BMW offering.

Can you supply the part number for the part you bought. I need to order one. Dealer told me it wasnt available but they probably screwed up the PN. Thanks.

Do you have paperwork for a Euro E28?

Sounds like this part falls under the DOT grouping....do I have to take title, importation and registration to the dealer in order to place the order? front bumper pieces fall into this category

That the right number. And you do NOT need any euro documentation to order it, unlike the rubber strips for the sides of the front bumper or M88 headers.
