Yet another e34

I got the bug and I seem to have gotten it bad. First there was my white '92 Touring, then my current car which is an Orient Blau '95. Now this:
1995 525iT Calypso Rot 159,000 miles, California car which came from the Bay Area. Lovely iPhone pics commence...
I am debating on keeping the wheels. So far I like them, I think I would like them more if the car sat a little lower in the front. The car ran great all the way home, and I really enjoyed driving it.

Unfortunately all US e34 525iT's are slushboxes though for some reason this one is a bit more responsive. If (when) it fails it will become a Spanish gearbox.

Damn, Mike.
Nice color and Style 4's. I might be tempted to come by and "liberate" that car.

You could fit a lot of clowns in that car.
Well done.

Mike! You shouldn't have! And in my favorite color too... It'll look awesome with snow tires on it.

General Conversation seems to be becoming Eye Candy or something.
Nice wagon. I'm glad you found one nice enough for you! Please get those stupid-ass Alpina emblems off the wheels.

Congrats Mike. That gap in the front wheel well can be fixed easily enough. E34 FTW!

Easier than Style 5's or RS's.

It wasn't just eye candy. There was conversation and it was fairly general. Mike and Susan stopped by my place on their way home and we talked about different things. I hope I didn't send you guys on the long way home.

After a round with the clay bar, some polish, and some nice carnauba wax.

Looks good Mike, but that gap has got to go. Here's how mine looked before and after cutting 1/2 coil:
Initially I was going to install lowering springs but decided to try the cut first. The springs are M5 factory issue with billy sports. The front has dropped a about 1/4" more since this was done 3 years ago. No complaints.

John I was at Carl Nelson's shop last Thursday while Susan was at her class. He was pretty impressed with the condition of the touring. I mentioned to him the 4x4 appearance of the front end and he suggested installing a set of Koni adjustable struts which will apparently get rid of that raised look. He sold me a set which I need to install sometime in the near future.

Well, it does have a proper clamshell bonnet and will safely transport a ton of beer and many fine young nubiles.
Two thumbs up. Look out nubiles.
