Hi guys not sure if you know this, but in South Africa from 1982 to 1985 we never got the e28 and continued to produce the e12, however with e28 electronics, interior and suspension.

The model code was officially 'e12/8'

This included the e12 m535 with euro m30b34.

Heres a humble 518 version for sale on our version of Craigs list. Just thought this would be an interesting share of information for you guys.

Hi,
The 518 is a nice looking ride, very clean. Liking the mud flaps, sort of rare. Not feeling those rims, sorry.
You guys get the euro bumpers like us (in Australia) much nicer imo.

The M535 looks great, always have liked that M pinstriping.

Thanks for sharing.

South Africa had some pretty cool cars.
BMW 745i with the M series engine, I think they also had an E30 333i and a bunch of big engine Fords that we never got in England.
