Oh snap? This car is a pair of chrome kidneys away from looking amazing.

This shouldn't last.

I agree! I can't stand the black grilles anymore, if I find a set at the yard before it sells, they'll definitely be going on.

any idea what the current mileage is?

Here is what I was able to gather based off the service records:

1999: 117,264
2004: 125,000
March 2010: 165,977 <-- It appears to have stopped working shortly after this

It's been driven pretty regularly since then, probably around 180k would be my best guess.

Is it the photos or is that interior Taurus?

The interior is Kirschrot. Would benefit from a good cleaning. Lots of dirt on the surface makes it look dark. Taurus has more brown to the red.

This looks like it would be a lot of fun to polish up.

or even the way it is, it's pretty cool. i usually like e28's minty but that one looks bad ass the way it sits. maybe it's just the cool pictures :D

I did clay and polish the passenger front fender above the beltline as a test, and it came out really nice, so the rest of the paint does have some potential.

Agreed. I need to start whispering in the wife's ear at night.
