Wow, how do you keep it from achieving takeoff? I mean I think that's faster than any aircraft takeoff speeds. I think it's incredible it doesn't lift.

Bugatti Veryon needed 1000 bhp to hit 250 mph.
This doesn't have nearly the same aerodynamic advantage, so count on 1000 bhp as a "it's definitely higher than this" starting point.

I would like to see what kind of mph a Veyron would run on the salt.
Also remember 250.009 was an average speed NOT the top speed.

First weakness? Headgasket. Second weakness? Piston ring lands. Third weakness? I dunno, I haven't seen an autopsy report of an m30 that failed due to high cylinder pressures where those first two survived.
