Never get on the business end of an Apache. Note how the crews were very aware of non armed personnel in the village. I do feel bad for some of the donkeys caught in the blast area.

Pretty wild stuff. How high are these birds in this video? Given the video I would think the guys on the ground would be more aware of what's waiting for them and trying a little harder to get out of the way. Maybe the Apaches are far enough away that they're not aware of them yet?

The Apaches were 2K or less from the targets. You can see distance in meters on the lower right of the screen. The number constantly changes as the laser is used for a range finder. The weapons systems need a good distance for the ballistic solution for the 30mm.

Awesome! It is at night correct? ...They probably can't see where the birds are and the Hodgies are easily spotted with the FLIR.

From that distance and with the rough terrain and the darkness it doesn't look like they are really moving. But I"m sure they were running for their lives.

I have never seen anything like this that has been real, pretty scary. Lucky we are on the good side and what awesome fire power that thing has.

This looks exactly like a couple of levels in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series where you play as a AC-130 gunner.
