What are the chances?

So, back in August, 2011, I bought a second E12 M535i out of Nampa, Idaho. I still have the car and aside from getting it running, doing a basic cleaning and thinking about selling it, I've done nothing to it - too many irons in the fire, but I digress. Unfortunately, one part I did not get with this car was the correct E12 M535i steering wheel. There was a stock E12 wheel in it's place.
Recently, a local guy bought a 1983 320is from somewhere in downtown Phoenix. It had Idaho plates. I thought it was interesting, but the car was in pretty poor shape. He was going to fix it, but we soon figured out it was totally not worth it because the body was hit many times. He put up a part-out thread, then decided to fix it because someone was pressuring him into it. I suggested he find a clean shell and swap everything over that was worth it. Fast forward to today and he decided to part it out.
I bought this:
I went to his house tonight and pulled it off myself. I looked the car over some and confirmed everything I had said was wrong with the body. He felt more positive about his decision - he bought the car right. Anyway, While looking around under the hood, I found an Idaho "Assigned Identification Number" tag, just like my M535i. It hit me that the car was from Idaho. He had just told me where he found it, so I assumed it was from here, forgetting I saw this photo:
I went on my way as it was getting late. I got to thinking as I was waiting for the computer to export TIF files. I went back and checked his intro thread and saw the photo. 2C is the prefix for Canyon county, Idaho, in which, Nampa, ID is located.
Did I just reunite my M535i with it's original steering wheel?

About the time I sold my 535i to buy the B9, I was moving a bunch of stuff out of my late Dad's safety deposit box. I sold the 535i. About a month later, my Mom reported that a small box with her Grandfather's silver dollars was missing. We never really knew what happened to them. My Mom thought the cleaning people took them. When I bought the 535i back some 10 years and 3 owners later, I was suprised to find a box of parts I put in the trunk still there. Cut the tape and along with the belts and hoses I found a small box full of very old silver dollars. My Mom was pretty happy and I was both amazed and cannot figure out why I put the silver dollar box in with the parts. Things were pretty busy and disraught when my Dad passed. Only excuse I can think of. The silver dollars, by the way, were worth more than the car. I am pretty sure this happened because my Mom was involved. This kind of stuff never happens to me. I am the guy who always gets the ticket, never the warning.
We are gonna get the whole car minus the interior,diff,etc.
