Well, the paint guy called me to bring the headlights and the bumpers since he is putting the car back together. I hadn't seen the car since it was primered (in epoxy primer) and ready to have the rusted sections welded back with fresh metal. Boy what a change! Sorry for the crappy cell phones pictures and it was also a little bit dark so they are not the best quality pictures.









He still has to paint and install the front M-Tech spoiler so I'll probably get it next week! Yes!

The color is Artic Blue. The change is so dramatic as the paint was faded and the clear mostly missing from all horizontal surfaces. At least now the outside and inside of the trunk look the same! LOL He even reproduced the textured finish in the rockers, front and rear valances. The only problem is that he painted the lower area under the rear bumper cover pieces black instead of blue. I guess I'll have to get used to it.

Do you remember some asshole on Thursday afternoon, in a light green VW Passat chasing you for 5 miles, diving in and out traffic, passing his exit and going 5 miles out of his way just to come up next to you on the right hand side and give you a thumbs. That was me.

He wasn't, traffic was a little heavy but he was at highway speed when he passed the on ramp I entered on so it took me a while to catch up.
