Whole car looks great
Codename: Greene
Little history, and some future plans.
when i bought her in 2009:

For the summer of '09 she got some bigger wheels:

The doors were extremely rusted, and there were a little work to done on the bodyframe, so we changed the doors for perfect ones, and made the bodywork. In 2010 i used the car in this shape:

I did not like this look, but i had no money for the paintjob
Later i bought an Alpina front spoiler and yellowed the high beams and the foglights:

In 2011 she got a new paintwork, lowering springs(40mm drop in the front, and 30 in the rear), and shadowline.

After that i bought a set of M-system wheels with two complete sets of covers(turbine and throwing star). It was a lucky business because i bought them on a very low price.

And for 2012:
Some more drop with coilovers, and m5 front and rear spoilers. The turbines will stay, i wanna paint them from silver to something new.

Personally i prefer the shadowline trim, and i have chromed taillights somewhere in the workshop, but i think it wont be good with the rest of the trim is black.gfoto wrote:I'm totaly with you on your choises... only thing is that i believe that chrome tailights would look better with that color...
And i think i found the best colour for the rims, it is the Desmond regamasters matte bronze finish. I hope my paintshop could mix something like this.
So i did not post anything about the car recently, because it's rolled well, without any problem. Except one, my engine issmoking blue when i accelerate after engine braking, so it could be a valve seal problem. I think the piston rings are in good condition, because i measured the compression, and it was like 13.5 BAR in the first five cylinders, and 12.8 in the sixth.
Anyway, a friend of mine is always wanted to buy my engine, we made a deal, we will replace his engine with this after some repair.
And for me, i bought a freshly assembled M30B35. It was a M30B30 from a really early E32, so the holes for the motor mounts are good for the shark motor mounts. The engine is bored to the high compression M535i pistons, M535 head with double spring valves, the lightest flywheel, lucas injectors, conny chip optimized for the higher compression, and everything is in the best shape.

At the same time the car is getting a LSD with the ratio of 3.64(now it's 3.91), and a e34 brake upgrade for the rear, and E32 750i 324mm brakes for the front.
