it is, but rather than just getting a tune off line and using that table and calling it good(which turned out to be, ehh, not good), were going to actually work on it vs throw it together to get it to run. i assure you he knows what he is doing.

im certain it will. this friend has built and tuned some stunning cars. the down fall to mine, is we used a tune off diy auto tune for a temp tune and didnt really investigate much beyond that.

Especially if this guy knows what he's doing I just don't see how you could ever do a boosted run, not look at a datalog and not catch that the timing was off. That's what datalogging is for. Hope it all works out...

im 100% behind Grant01 on this one guys, his friend has to be better at this then he is letting on.... thats just a simple mistake and should be over looked. kinda like my neighbor that ran over my dog in my drive way, driving forward, while my dog was sleeping on his dog bed in his dog house.... stupid dog had it coming to him and should have known better then to think his house and bed were a safe place....... :? :|

i thought the whole obviousness of the dog analagy would have spelt it out for you guys.... Dont let him touch it get yourself a good set of reading glasses and a smoking pipe and sit down and read and learn. or find someone who is QUALIFIED.

Hope you tune it better this time mate!

It has happened to me twice cause of poor tuning...lost the money of a good megasquirt unit, try your best this time hope i all goes well ;)
