Very nice 528E Pendleton! Looks like you got a great deal.

It’s also great to see a 20 years old driving around in a car, 10 years his elder. I originally held on to my e28 to give to my son or daughter, neither of them could appreciate the car. My son is driving around in a 300Z and my tree hugger/vegan daughter is driving around in a Toyota Prius, God bless her. The irony is, every time she brings a guy home. They always ask whose car is that, your brothers, she then proceeds to tell them it’s my dad’s car. The next question isn’t a surprise. Does he want to sell it?

The Mye28 group is definitely an eclectic group.

Anyone else out there like Pendleton that wants to come out of the e28 closet?

Oh, and RE: Facebook...

I started the group on FB many years ago. It now has 20k members from around the world. Its not supposed to be nearly as technical as here.

If someone asks a technical question, it should be here. If you want to look at lots of E28s from all around the world in many multiple languages, FB has that market cornered.

But in all seriousness, is there any question about E28s that has not been asked and answered here... I would hazard to say no...

Go fuck yourself Mark. ;)

Yo Matt. Good hearing from ya.

I ain't getting rid of my gurls anytime soon. Just sold my first house that my kids picked out for us immediately after the divorce in June 2009. (I was given full custody and child support) Shoot, not that I've been a big helper/contributor to all problems (always felt others did a better job) but I'd have "an episode" if the site disappeared. Due to da kids impending graduations from high school (Classes 2019 & 2020), I decided to prepare back in May 2016 to put myself in a situation where I can be totally selfish and be a ME person!! The house I divinely had the ability to purchased (10-10-2017) is such a blessing and I truly believe of the prophetic nature considering life's and societal events that occurred since I made the decision to move (May 2016). I also wanted to finally do something that has an avant-garde, monumental risk yet keeping devout faith in choice to realize in the pay-off/result. Sort of like taking most of your life savings and that whole months check and playing one hand of Blackjack with it fully embracing the idea that "a/your/our" prophecy/desired outcome will ultimately be fulfilled. The "simultaneous closing" is not for the weak, un-hinged, faithless, and faint at heart. My dad always told us, when you make it( can be as "simple" as graduating from college) "pay yourself cause nobody else will do it for you." I didn't come back home after my high school graduation but the kids are welcomed too but it's me time now (of course they are what's important regardless) Single parenthood ain't no joke when truly embraced, understood, and put as the number one priority forsaking lady relationships to keep focused on the task/commitment bestowed by the One. That sucked. LOL. Was worth it (one example being my son at beginning of this school year as a junior is #1 rated Chess player in state, high school and under) and definitely a miracle that we've made it this far with flying colors! Now I'm at the precipice of an exciting stage in life where I can totally immerse myself in my whole harem at my new property with land and 3 garages on said land to "git r done." Stephanie has only sat since I bought her April 2011(wish I had the where-with-all to purchase a spare S14 block back then :? ) Also to have "empty nest" syndrome occur before the suppose-ed best earnings period of a man life (44 to 55, I'm 42) Will update new digs/surroundings in that one thread in Gen Convo once we get settled and I get all the gurlz together under "one roof!" Will be able to easily fondle one/many of the gal(s) every night . I got a lot of undercarriages to toy around in :pimp: Y'all getting all nostalgic so how about the first picture I ever posted to mye28.com (old board). Then all we will need is a rabbit with a pancake on top of its head to /THREAD CHEERS!!

Good hearing from you, Bobby!

I can relate to the "empty nest" thing -- when that happens and one is (basically) responsible only for oneself, it's a great feeling!

I'm surprised that number is so large. Does that mean there's still 20,000 E28s still running around the planet somewhere? :)

Where idiots who have decided to move on for whatever reason and no interest in maintaining a going concern keep coming back to call it a failure and instigate problems? That kind of diplomacy?

More like when the rhetoric is misinterpreted as serious or a threat but in the final analysis we remain trading partners and friends due to common interest and a love of freedom and expression. It's also important to note that Mark has pulled a page from Trumps game plans. Everybody is talking about it. One man has brought life into a single thread via controversy.
It's a bit as they say in Canada. Mark is just imulating his hero "the Donald"

Fuck you Mark and thanks !

Or how about a jackass who bad mouths other forms of social media such as the e28 Facebook group and then prostitutes himself on the e28 Facebook group by trying to sell clapped-out wheels.

Wait, I just realized this is an E28 site? And all this time (since 2 Feb 2006 17:00 apparently) I've been an E12 owner, lost on this forum. Fuck, I've thrown my life away. :|

Well this is unfortunate. I'm not sure why you think this. If you have predicted its demise years ago, why are we all still here? This is no doubt the most informative, authoritative website when it comes to E28s, and people even come to discuss related models (E23s, E12s and E34s for example) so just because we have a few less posts than 5 or 10 years ago, we're doomed? Care to predict a year when this site folds? "It's only a matter of time"? Of course it is, everything dies in time. You're acting like Rasputin, or Harold Camping, or Ronald Weinland. Just plain silly.

I have made so many friends and had so many good memories via this website...across the country and across the WORLD...It's sad you don't seem to share this sentiment.

MARK IS NOT A MONSTER.
He just tends to represent the more pedantic Canadian perspective. Honestly when you hang out with Mark you just can't stop laughing. His wit is as dry as his penile implant. He is definitely one of the funniest fuckers I know. Lighten up he is just poking the bear. Also you should have seen him flogging Petes VW golf on RTT 2017. It was impressive. Ofcouse Pete was in another car.
I have made lots of good friendships via this site and remain appreciate of all the colors of the mye28 rainbow.
