Drove it home last night.

Still need some trim odds and ends. Going to wash it first. With the Z3 S54 rad, the temp gauge sits a needle's width to the left of 12 o'clock.

So good driving it again.

Going to GFest at Lime Rock tomorrow....eh.....tonight?

Those plasma cutters are the bomb! Saw this car the day the B35 went in and right before the new front end earlier this week. Kudos to Jeff and Paul!

What are you doing up here? You must have driven right past my office (I'm looking at 684 north as I type). I thought I felt a disturbance in the force.....

Gfest. It was my birthday so I was like, what the hell, let's go. Left home at 2am (after being at the shop until 9:30 Friday night) and drove up to Lime Rock Park, lol.

Woohoo! Found my skinny kidneys in the rear storage compartment next to the spare tire well!

Now just to get a Roundel and we will be 100% back from the wreck!

Edit: Noticed my inspection it up today. I guess the time has come to do the hatch wiring to get those reverse lamps working again. Ugh.

Not to mention the leaky hobgoblined together exhaust.

Looks like I've got some picture fixin' to get to.

Anywho....last big mod was going from this:

Image

Cobbled together....IE headers thru modded e24 downpipes to car delete an out a gutted stock muffler.Leaked like a mother....but had a nice sound...

....replaced it with this...

Image

IE headers, made to fit with Vbands, 3" pipe....is loud. I love it.

Also re-attached my Volvo lip after tearing it off unloading the car from the tow dolly when the alternator died.

All it needs now it some lows and a good detailing to get all the paint to one shade of black.
