As I recall the Avus Blue M5 has 23K original miles and easily won best E34.
Joel and Paul's gorgeous 1982 Euro converted 528e with S52 won the best E28.
I am not sure that I have pictures of the other winners.

Were the first few from the official-unofficial run to Hood River and Full Sail with the obligatory photo-op spot at North Bonneville Saturday afternoon?
Man I miss that run up the Columbia. Last year's drive back from Hood River was a hoot running up the mountain chasing Kohlers' 745 in the dark. (Chris: what route was that anyway?)
Congratulations Jake and everyone who made it happen. Looks like it was great as always.

The first 3 were after the official drive on Sunday. Top floor of the parking garage at the mall where the 'Buffalo Wild Wings' was.
The next ones were of the trip to Hood River after the show on Saturday. It was an awesome drive back on Historic Route 30 along the Columbia. They repaved most of the road, so it was as smooth as could be.

Is there any details on this build anywhere?? I would love to read more about it as well as look at some more detail pics of it. That S52 looks like it just belongs in that engine bay. The whole car looks beautiful!
Thanks everybody for coming and I'm glad that you all had a great time. I'm recovering from the weekend and I'll put together a nice wrap up post this week and attempt to consolidate most of the photos that I can find.

If I had a car like that I'd be excited EVERY DAY!!!
It took us a while to get back since we did a little extra vacationing after 5erWest. 3,798 miles were driven on the trip with the only E12 to make this year's event.
Links to our photos are here. My wife did a much better job of collecting pics because I was talking to so many people! I think we correctly captured both the chassis winners and their corresponding cars in the labels.
