Drilled rotors are a gimmick for the most part, all they will do is make your rotors prone to cracking. Stick with blanks, or maybe slotted.

It really doesn't. Not to a noticeable, appreciable extent for street driven car in any case. Vented is nice if you're weighing upgrade options, but slotted rotors tend to wear the pads really fast (they act a bit like a cheese grater on the pad surface), and the drilled rotors are more prone to cracking. Stick with a quality name, regular style rotor. They're less expensive anyway.

If you're having problems with heat you need bigger brakes.
