Ryan-
How sweeeeet is that car?? I think the e9's are the most timeless design that BMW has ever produced. Looks like you have the power and dependability in you drive train. How about the suspension? Every time I drive one of these with the stock suspension, it feels like I'm driving a couch. I'm sure your car will be a blast to drive with the right springs, shocks, swaybars. etc. Congrats, and keep us posted to any changes you'll make in the future to your "Baby" :)

Thank you thank you. The suspension has been worked over also. Bilstein HDs, La Jolla Springs, Ireland Sways, all new bushings everywhere and front and rear strut braces. It goes around corners as well as it goes down the freeway! Its quite the package. If I lived in a drier climate, I'd daily drive it!

Well done, and well worth thinning the collection for. Congratulations! If you want a mostly silver and mostly rust free '72 CS parts car there's one down here that desperately needs to be rescued. ;)

Thanks guys. The transition to the dogleg is about over. I've been driving the car a lot and I don't really have to think about what gear I'm in anymore. I found myself second guessing a lot at first.

Ryan,

Was talking to Paul Cain yesterday and he mentioned Carey Iida's Alpina CSL. Hadnt thought of it in a while so took a gander at it again and immediately thought of your car. That car is absolutely ridiculous... but not one that you could drive regularly...Congrats again!

Thanks buddy. I LOVE that car. I've been drooling over those pictures since they were put up. I've actually been thinking about using that car as inspiration for mine. They do have a very similar look, obviously that car is much much nicer though. I think a set of stripes would set my car off. Thanks everyone!

Ryan

Look carefully at the dates on the posts. Ryan has sold, or is selling, the car now.
