I got mine. Short order too since it’s just over the river to my house. waiting for Christmas! This is a cool forum event. Thanks Davintosh. Glad mine was well received! Throw a battery in that fossil watch and you have instant style! I figure out the portable TV is analog and unless there is some secret analog station its only a radio. -Enjoy

Posting this in keeping with a German tradition of opening a gift on Christmas Eve (and tomorrow will be very busy). In this case we were fortunate enough to receive a box from Davintosh, the contents of which had a very international theme:

Image

In this very cool box we found:

Set of wooden Christmas ornaments from Friedrichsthal
Set of playing cards from the Netherlands
Keyring and business card case from the Beijing Hilton Capitol Airport (with a hotel door keycard included!)
Geant Casino tote bag (put to immediate use)
Twenty pence coin
Turkish Lira coin
Michelin map of Germany, Benelux, Austria and Czech Republic (all on our eventual destination list...in the meantime we can ponder the possibilities)
South Dakota license plate!
92 BMW M3 Hot Wheels car (this one's staying in the box)
M&Ms-themed NASCAR Hot Wheels (two-year-old is already going to town on this one)
Watermelon pool beach ball (Again, paging the two-year-old....)
Two (!) 2018 e28 calendars, some lovely photos in this year's offering
Tool bag with assortment of awesome little tools inside, including a very nice pocket knife - will be further augmented and then stowed immediately for use in das auto
Very cool rock - this is going into our cool rock and fossil collection
Lovely glass mug from Kaysersberg in Alsace - put that to immediate use

Thank you Dave for such a thoughtful gift (set of gifts) that definitely got us in the mood to motorvate!

You'll have to forgive me for my procrastination and cheating a little; some of the items that were in your box were intended to be sent months ago to thank you & your wife for helping me out this summer. I failed to get that package sent in a timely manner, then forgot about it, then was reminded of it when the PBE came around, and conveniently drew your name (luck of the draw!)

When I first obtained the Kaysersberg mug about a year ago, it contained some Marche De Nol Vin Chaud, or hot Christmas Mulled Wine, one of the many Christmassy things we're missing this year! Also, the rock is one that we picked up from a beach in Moneglia, Italy. Moneglia is just north of the Cinque Terre, a string of five little towns on the Mediterranean. Kind of touristy, but beautiful scenery, and not terribly expensive if you have experienced guides (which we did.) Lots of great memories contained in the stones that we picked up from that beach; hope you can someday go and gather some of your own!

Merry Christmas to you & yours!

My family missed the Christmas Eve gala at my Brother in Law's house because of freezing rain and snow. He lives at the mouth of the Columbia Gorge and it was icy, so they cancelled. My Wife, Daughter, and I decided we would celebrate early and spend tomorrow morning getting ready for Xmas dinner as we usually host the older generation.

I assume that the package I got came from Brian in TN.

I have an embarrassment of riches, Thank you very much and Merry Christmas! What a haul:

Image
Star Wars seat cover, with matching headrest cover.
Films:
The IT Crowd
Snatch
Changeling
Mad Hot Ballroom
The first season of "justifed"

5 Disposable Coffee cups with jackets and go caps.
Baretta Cougar Hat (very stylish, I like it)
BMW Corporation 1987/1988 Service Matinenance Checklists.
A Nerf Dart
A care package of Lyndor Chocolates, A large chocolate cookie, mints, etc.
Return of the Jedi Shirt. IN MY SIZE (Medium Porky)
5er Fest 07 Shirt. Again, IN MY SIZE!

Old Bay spice (My sister send me this, perfect)
An Oil filter for my ETA.
An AR-15 Dual Clip holder by B-Square.
Word Finds Companion Puzzle Book
No-Nonsense Trouser Socks (My daughter laughed pretty hard at the thought of me wearing these)
A heater flap/door for an E-28. Something tells me that I will need this eventually.
A top vent for the ETA. Sweet!
A Metallica Sticker
A "Task Force" set of retrieval tools. You are a mind reader. I have other versions of these but not as good.
An UNO game.
A faux ar-15 clip.
A Monkey Fist Key Chain (nicely executed, I might add)
A pen from Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Personal packets of Famous Daves Barbecue Sauce.
A package of slow cooker liners.

Still in shock you sent T-shirts that actually fit. Happy Holidays!

The AR magazine is real. Only a 10 rounder for you west coasters. No mention of the oatmeal? Tis the finest.
Merry Christmas.

Pardon me missing the oatmeal! I have a friend that has an AR and several other assault rifles. I shoot his rifles; I am cheap. All I have is a pump shotgun for home defense.

Again, AWESOME package. I am already negotiating with my daughter about who gets what.

I was up late last night/this morning wrapping presents (and looking for some that I misplaced!) and was sorely tempted to open it in the wee hours all by myself, but the opening of the PBE box has become a highly anticipated part of Christmas Morning with my family, so I held off. And the box from Sundeep did a good job of impressing the crew!

Image

A nice BMW-logoed ball cap (that actually fits my fat head!)
An owner's manual for the e32 740i/740iL/750iL
Two NASCAR toy cars
A BMW hubcap wrench (something I never got around to buying; thanks!)
Two BluntTech stickers
An authentic 524 trunk emblem (authenticity evidenced by diesel soot embedded in the chrome!)
A weighted shift knob in nice condition
A decently clean set of BMW toolkit tools (with two SAE sizes. :? )
A black glovebox flashlight
A Phoenix Coyotes hockey puck (wait; Phoenix, AZ, has a hockey club? Too cool!)
A placard from the trunk of some car (not sure which model) showing how to fit three golf bags inside.
Some golf tees and a golf ball.
A BMW Audiophile demo disc
A $10 Amazon gift card (hoping it's still valid!)
A BMW cigar lighter
Two e28 steering wheel emblems
A bag of miscellaneous fuses
A cool little 6-speed shifter toy
The October 2012, UK Performance BMW magazine (featuring Mike Burroughs' e9!)
The February 2013, Roundel

All in all, a nice haul. Many thanks, Sundeep!

Fabulous box from EventuallyAyrton which included 2 huge books: A Triumph TR4 repair manual and "Automobiles that changed History". Fiat and Volvo emblems, a Rhode Island license plate, BMW gauge faces, Volvo boost gauge, an e9 Hot Wheel, BMW stick pin, a little plane, allen wrenches and an old newspaper from 1966. Some great stickers, a BMW window switch rounded out this great collection of schwag. Oh, and some bandaids since I cut the shit out my finggerrs. Good stuff that you can't see because I'm just an underwear model from Sharonville Ohio and not one of those big swinging dick Seattle IT guys.

Received my package today from Paul. The Australian Border Force deemed the bio-threat to be minimal after inspection although I'm not confident their inspection was thorough enough. Time will tell.

Now, onto the haul!

Multitudes of assorted stickers and decals
3 x Manhiem Steamroller Christmas albums
Sunburnt yet relaxed Spiderman bottle opener.
Moosehead sticker bombed LED torch
///M - Cap
Jewelers screwdrivers
Tie Gun (I had to google this. Needless to say I'm looking forward to using it more than I should)
Folding cutlery
Survival tool
Classic BMW Motorsport badge (sans pin)
PCB Ruler
Collapsible Frisby
2 x beer cozies
E30 Beanie (ewwwwwww)

And the highlight, a personally messaged BMWCCA Enamel grille badge from Jeff Hollen. This is a great reciprocal gift after sending him a BMWCCAus badge a few years ago and will be similarly mounted in due time.

Thanks a lot Paul and Jeff, this made my day.

My box showed up after I had to leave town on Wednesday, but I will open it tonight and post here. The sender sent it in time, but tracking shows his local PO sat on it for 3 days.
