Pictures taken 50 feet away, at dusk in low light, and no interior or engine pics. If the seller had posted snapshots from a drone at 1500 feet they couldn't have been much more useless.

Love this color combo.... this one has low miles, looks in great shape and everything BUT it has a salvage title.... its funny how seller plays it down as if the status wouldn't affect its value.

It was issued a salvage title years ago in Arizona but only from slight bumper damage. It was bumped into by a car that had been bumped into. The resulting damage was a cracked bumper but do to the high price to repair and the low book value at the time it was cheaper for the insurance company to issue a salvage title, there was no body or frame damage.

However I'm always skeptical about sellers' lack-of-rust claims, which is a pretty subjective call. "No rust problems" isn't the same thing as "no rust" and certainly doesn't mean "rust free".
Please explain why Chris. Is a salvage title that detrimental in terms of getting the car plated anywhere in the USA? Tedster.
After hearing multiple stories from others who have had mixed success, it is not a straightforward process in NY. A recent story in the Genesee Chapter Roundel a guy took over 6 months to register an e39 touring with a salvage title even though it had been titled in another state and had been repaired and running legally for some time.
