You need Chicago roots to vote more than a couple times.
I was just thinking of the old Chicago mantra, vote early and often.

I'm not participating until the effers who got boxes last year chime in and at least acknowledge they got boxes and apologize for not following through on posting results.

Thanks for Thorton for being such a stand-up, awesome guy, and starting up the 2016 process: http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=141943

I went to go piss on the parade but he, smartly, pre-empted me. So I'm going to stay disgruntled right here.
Remember, if you're going to play, you need to follow through, all the way. And that includes posting something about what you got, bonus points for photographic evidence. We had a few individuals who didn't do that last year, and that really detracted from what has become a fun tradition. So do us all a favor, and finish what you start! Those who didn't follow through last year (I have a list) won't be playing this year. And if you don't want to play, for whatever reason, we really don't want to hear about why in this thread.
I think we should post a list of the bastards who were dead-beats last year. Shame them publicly until they apologize. Then I'll be back in and one of you can expect some really sweet and special loot on Christmas day.

Well, it doesn't look like that is going to happen and that's why I fully expect a 30% flake rate again this year. And no, I won't be participating.

Now get off my lawn!

Yeah, last year got a little messy, and I hesitate to get rough with the people who didn't follow through & share what they got because if you look back at last year's thread, that wasn't exactly spelled out as a requirement. It was implied, and has come to be an assumed part of the process, but technically... That's been fixed for this year, and I hope everything works out for the guys who are playing.

According to my records everybody did send a box -- which was the requirement spelled out in that thread -- but due to me screwing up (yeah, that's a fun memory to relive) some of the boxes didn't get to the right place on time.

Thanks for holding back, Charlie. I can understand your frustration with last year, but punishing this group because your guy and a few others failed to show gratitude doesn't really fix it. They won't be playing this year, but it's not too late for you & Chas to join in.

But who's this "Thorton" guy you're talking about? ;)
