See Avus is winning. It's such a nice color. Soft on the eyes but it catches them too. It's very unique on e28sm-racer wrote: I had an Avus E34 M5 for a while. It is a fascinating color.

It's the black primer, I think. Clean and polished Avusblau on a sunny day is amazing.EventuallyAyrton wrote:Tammer in Philly wrote: Avus could certainly work.See Avus is winning. Funny, the Henna e30 is the only BMW I've owned that I haven't been pulled over in (which I've obviously now jinxed).m-racer wrote:I like Henna just fine. I had a Henna E30 M3. Cops loved it.
I agree, two red e28s is too many in the same garage.m-racer wrote:One of the most attractive E28's I ever saw was a a Henna Alpina B9. All that said, I do think it would not compliment the red car as a garage mate.
Yep, you are screwed. I had an officer tell me (probably in the early 90's) that a Henna E30 M3 was like giving a cop the finger. I had similar experiences in my Guards Red 911. The car cops love to hate.Karl Grau wrote:Funny, the Henna e30 is the only BMW I've owned that I haven't been pulled over in (which I've obviously now jinxed).m-racer wrote:I like Henna just fine. It looks like it's going to be a fun build and I can't wait to see the car at St Paddy's in March.
I haven't been to any BMW events yet but I hope to go to some soon and definitely that one!cek wrote:March 2018.Karl Grau wrote:Hey, that was my first post in this thread, I've been saving up.cek wrote:I hope you guys are having fun on my thread.
