As usual, I can't attend what looks to be the second best 5er event on the west coast. However, if anyone going to or coming from the event is taking Highway 101, please feel free to use me as a pit stop. Every year someone usually stops by on their way home. Have fun and maybe next year... maybe...

Is this event open to newcomers & if so where do I sign up? I live in San Diego & have an e28 & would love to hang about with another bunch of enthusiasts with the same car who like to talk s*#t & drink beer.

New people are coming over (the old ones didn't dare to come again.... )

Both are friends and both are co-workers.
Arjen is a newbie to BMW's and doesn't drive one, but comes along for the fun.
Christiaan was at 5erFest Reno and owns a few E28's, plus a track car with an M60B40

We will be driving the M5 that CEK is watching down to Sandy Eggo, I needed a nickname for her, so why not call her CEKS

See you guys in March! And YES I will be bringing parts again! Thread will be started in a moment....
Oooh; if I show up at your shop, can I have first dibs? ;) (I might need a car too.)

Because of the extensive background checks we do on all of the participants, I’m sorry to say you’ve missed the deadline for signing up.*

*No sign up required, just show up.

Sooooo, what's the likelyhood of spouses being there? Obviously in the minority, but a few like 5er Fest/West or near zero like Wrenchfests? Inquiring minds want to know.

Talked to Darin tonight,
He is thrilled beyond being thrilled about the up coming event!
As we ended our conversation, he commented.
I am going to make a cocktail and go watch TV.
That's all the news I have, I am excited about getting out of the house and
seeing you knuckleheads!

Bad Zoot! She is a naughty person. You must tie her down on a bed and spank her. You must spank her well. And then... spank me!

I guess we will have to name Darin's house Castle Anthrax? I presume Geordi will have a similar sign at his home...

I thinks so, the've let me show up in my Nissan Versa and a rental Challenger, I think the'll make an exception for a real BMW, of any sort :D

No shit, a few of us are in that boat. I'm not sure the E12 is up for a 1300 mile trip, or perhaps it is, but not with me in it. Are E36s or 39s allowed?
