I did. If anyone else does the best match I can find is Eric Wexler, cpa president EMW Advisory Services in Charlotte, NC if I'm right.

Two of his skillsets listed are offshoring and outsourcing. He doesn't like slimey from his pic though...

Oh and he's a 'President.' May explain the superiority complex.

P.S. I've spent enough time in my life dealing with people misrepresenting cars and it gets real annoying. I drove 6 hours round trip twice to see a falsely represented LS400 recently. If I save one person the trouble its worth it.

OK new topic. Just to be clear, I'm not a fan of this car. Not at all. In fact I've never seen anything like this and to me it represents everything NOT to do to an E28 cosmetically. Maybe someone here likes it. Either way, it's extreme. Nuff said.

If the car is that bad, then post it in the turd section.

Can we keep on sharing the good cars on this thread????

One Owner... Don't see that very often.

1988 BMW e28 535i
http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/5395545307.html
Black, pearl beige leather, 199K miles, 5 speed, excellent condition, one owner, non-smoker, garaged, meticulously maintained, never raced, oil changed every 2,500 miles, all service records, excellent cold air conditioner, Dinan chip, Bilsteins, PIAA fog and driving lamps, style-f wheels, and new coco mats. Minor spot touch ups needed to look like new. Rare opportunity to own a well-maintained mostly stock e28. Car is in New Hampshire but will consider bringing to NC. BRO.

I am new to E28s but I feel sad to see so much hard work (and money) invested in a car with 1- seemingly no attention paid to the engine bay, 2- Fake "M" emblem and 3- Slushbox transmission (although that is a subjective opinion)

All in all, car looks great..Love those seats

That car looks familiar. It was at a couple of the 5er Fest events, so it was definitely enthusiast owned ~10 years ago. Had VA plates as I recall back then, so I'm sure it changed hands at some point.

The engine bay is dirty, obvious, but more concerning to me is that if you look around the fuse box area there seems to be rust. The rest of the car is nice enough that I hope it is just dirt, though.

This car was for sale around Richmond Va on cars.com a couple months ago for between 4-6k.
It was being offered by a specialty shop that had an Isetta in the background of one of the pictures.
I was going to look at it but I thought the milage was high.

Sometimes I read these threads and sometimes they are quite entertaining.
The V8 swap with forward facing exhaust was a rare look at totally misguided engineering and further misguided valuation of ones own work.
Price typos with an extra 0, really, don't people proof read their own adds or do they really think their beater 528e will get interest ay 18,000? I didn't read the fine print maybe it was Pesos in which case it might be fair enough.
And then there are cars like the one above. What a shame that some poor soul without much clue may pay anywhere near that for a worn out car with a reasonable (clearly not great) paint job that does have a few desirable parts. Then again it may be if you could look close everything on it comes into question like the upper radiator hose which is obvious. If only they had got the front license plate delete from Wexler.
Now finally as to that Wexler guy. Obviously crude and should simply be banned from the forum. He offends even innocent bystanders like myself.

NA 1995 E34 540i 6sp in Houston $3000

I was contacted by the owner of this car at a BMW function.
He is moving out of state and wants to sell the car to a BMW enthusiast rather than donating it for the tax write off.

I can provide contact info if you are interested.

Car is not perfect, but would make a worthwhile project or an entertaining track toy.
I can provide more condition information, but nothing close to a PPI.

Car is in Houston, TX.

Does the seller have an active CL ad? Also, where is the car located? Even a state helps.
