That's a perfect example of the problem with EAG cars. I recall that seller paying about $14.5-15k about a year ago for that car. He recently put it on Ebaay, but nobody would bite. Then he listed it for $9500, and nobody bought it. Now he's down to $8500, which is unfortunate. People have to be careful about buying into some of the ridiculous recent inflation in E30 and E28 prices.

1972 Bmw 2002tii - $11500 (littleton)

1972 BMW 2002tii. Colorado Orange. The added benefits of the tii, riding on slick Borrani steelies, and including a NOS 5-speed and 3.90 limited slip. I owned this car for 6 years and I am the 3rd owner.

Some rust on the trunk lid, but the photos don't show it.

The interior has some wear and a typical crack on the dash, but nothing so severe. The engine runs strong and features a K&N filter in place of the factory airbox, an Optima battery, and recent fuel injection lines from the Kugelfischer. 1972 was the only year for the plastic intake runners shown here.

1973 BMW 3.0CS, This is an American market 3.0 CS, and thus has leather interior, power windows, AC and carburetors, in this case Webers which I think were installed when the engine was rebuilt at about 90,000 miles. The car, orginally Polaris silver, was repainted by the previous owner, and I have continued this scheme under the hood, with recent work including paint and hood insulation pads, as well as repair to the right front fender which had a paint bubble, the only blemish I could find. During my two years with the car I've replaced the tie rods, battery, voltage regulator, slave cylinder, fuel pump, hoses and belts, and leather on the driver's seat base. I've also had the power steering pump rebuilt, as new originals are nearly impossible to find. The car has a wood Nardi steering wheel (a real one with Nardi's signature) and a new tool box with the original tools inside. It's a great car to drive, and will reward close inspection.

This car was at Nigro’s Auto Body shop on Washington ave in South Philly last week. Not sure what type body work was being done but it had the EAG license plate tag on the back.

Starts up great and drive great. It's not perfect, but only need minor things. I have driven it 650miles(about 11hrs straight) interstate with 2 passengers and a full load over the CA/OR border in high elevation and it never missed a beat.

Asking price is $29,000. I'm willing to take partial trades for smaller SUVs or pickup truck.

Was posted on here before from a previous ebay listing. Was recently Laguna Seca blue and repainted (likely cheaply given the price point, mentions of paint defects in ad and lack of mentioning recent respray in ad). Here's the ebay listing from a few months ago:
