I need to swap the oil pan before I can test fit it, then will work on designing motor mounts.
I'm curious to see how it fits in this old garbage.

Bad ass. If I wasn't already subscribed id be now.

I got it on the engine stand and drained the oil tonight, hoping to have the e34 m50 oil pan on it sometime next week...

Im sure you know this but you also need the Oil pump pick up tube from the e34.

Yes, thanks for the concern though.

Last night I installed my zf manual steering box and started building the bracket/bracing for the m-coupe diff cover. I have to call it an m-coupe diff cover because it's hard to say I'm putting something e30 on my old car.

Interesting.

I got/cleaned a e34 m50 oil pan I picked up today, I'm excited to mock up the motor maybe this weekend.

Trying to get my car at 0° front to back and side to side seems nearly impossible... I'm trying to get it zeroed out so I can set the angle on the motor and driveshaft so I can build the motor mounts. I was having fun.

Yes it does!LuckyHenriksen wrote:Engine looks right at home in there!

I have the motor fully located and I'm working on the mounts.
Re: My ongoing E12 build (Now with Dinan Blown s52)
I worked 12hrs today on the motor and Trans mounts and still not finished. Good thing I don't do this for a living.

That should last. Forever.

Better than BMW could have done it.

Where did you get the collars for the rubber mounts?
