I did some reading, and learned that the lsd cartridge can be swapped into any 188mm diff, and it doesn't disturb any of the measurements like pinion depth. A lot easier to ship it, too.

It was actually a 3/4 box of Kotex. They absorb errant oils and protect. Winning.
