1983 533i in Colorado for $4,500. That state is cranking (oops did I say crank?) out some beauties lately.
For some reason, Bon Jovi's "Wanted: Dead or Alive" popped into my head seeing this.
It's sportin some sweet yellow lenses and the beginnings of a bumper conversion.
Also, why do bumper deletes go hand-in-hand with cut springs???

Both are arguably "mods" and neither involve money.

1984 BMW 320i EUROPEAN CAR. Built for the Singapore Police, this car was surplus build and purchased straight from the factory!
Built as LH driver. This is a one owner car imported into America.
This car suffered a rear collision (see pics) almost 10 yrs ago and has been in storage ever since. Was running and drivable just 4 years ago.
I recently tried to restart the car. The engine spins over but the fuel pump is bad.
This is the EFI fuel pump and is mounted externally of fuel tank.
I have owners manual & service manual. The interior is in overall fair condition with some stains that can be removed with cleaning.
I was planning on doing a modified restoration but time & health dictate otherwise.
This car was never titled in US so Bill of Sale only.
This car will need to be hauled!

That front bumper looks like it's from a Mitsubishi Galant or something...
They really painted brown over everything (at Maaco) including the rear roundel and badge.
Then the owner painted black paint over the rear blinkers.
Then partially scratched it back off from the driver side blinker.
Then stopped and left it.
Then put it on craigslist.
"I'd say we've got a serial crusher here. Wouldn't be surprised if these pop up all over town..."
lol

Otherwise, basically no information.

Oh man that was almost painful to read through...
Just looking at that picture... First sentence: "Super clean E24"
*sigh*
Apparently the autotragic isn't so good for drifting so now he wants your e30, 240 or subaloosa. Oh and lots of your CASH, you know, cause this car is only going up in value like everysingleday.

Sorta hard to see fro the pictures of the Worcester car. But the dash looks to have few cracks. Why has the rear bumper broken as it has? New here, a link to thread as to why this happens.

BURZA wrote:Sorta hard to see fro the pictures of the Worcester car. But the dash looks to have few cracks. Why has the rear bumper broken as it has? New here, a link to thread as to why this happens.
I've heard it's due to the exhaust heat cycling the aluminum. It's pretty common for them to crack, but that car looks like it broke clean, and probably has a broken bumper shock mounting on the rear left corner - its likely that it rotted out (also a common problem)
That car looks like it has sat there for a while, which means that the underside is going to be all rotted out. It's a parts car, but the 14" bottle caps are not desirable, nor is the engine as-is. PB standard interior in rough shape - can't see if the dash has cracks - those shapes you see are the bins designed into the dash. No mention of a limited slip (would have to see under the car for that). The only thing remotely worth anything would be the G265 trans, assuming the car is indeed an '85.
Also, why the car is listed under the Worcester CL is strange, as South Windsor is in CT, much closer to Hartford or Western Mass CL's. The seller would be lucky to get $500 for it - it belongs in this thread

At least we know it's an M30 car - from the wheels one could assume it was an eta car with a 535i trunklid

Yes. And you weren't invited. Because last time they met, you pushed for a wiki, again.
