I used 1/2" emt (electrical conduit). Even a ham fisted eedjit like me can do it.

However this electrician is putting off the rear hatch wiring as long as possible! :rofl:

I need to figure out how to get a real key for mine in the event mine fails. Defrost wiring is bad, but I've never used it anyway. I need all of the struts too, but meh.

It's your car and if you like it that's what matters. Don't see any reason to say anything negative about it. I left the 525i badge on mine. It was already on there and I'm lazy.
