I am sure there has been a flood of Congressional Inquiry's from soldiers to their reps. Like I said earlier in this thread, this is a ploy by DOD to put pressure on congress.

If it's cost plus without competition that's a whole other problem, if it's cost plus with competition, the market will resolve that issue.

In many cases, that is exactly what it is and given the cost, and other barriers to entry, in parts of the defense market, it will not correct itself.

But the same folks who hold the keys of entry are the same ones that would have to address what might be considered reasonable compensation, neither is going to happen.
