Guess this fake M535i never found a taker for $14,995:

At least it looks good (for the most part).

Ha! I remember that car. That guy thought that even though we had all the evidence in the world that the car wasn't an M535i, he insisted it was.

http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/3496376799.html

*BMW 635CSi (top of the line 2-dr. coupe)
*1980 U.S. regestration, 1979 Euro VIN year
*imported by the famous grey market car importers Cohn of the '70's & '80's
*3.5 liter inline 6-cylinder (the big-block version, not the later small-block version that was offered through U.S. BMW dealers)
*5-speed manual close ratio ZF brand transmission (sometimes referred to as the Alpina transmission)
*BBS brand 14-inch OEM BMW wheels
*gray leather interior(very good shape, except for noticeable cracks on the driver's side seat)
*dark gray exterior color
*rare black soft rubber rear spoiler*Grundig AM/FM stereo cassette player

-It has been stored in garages for the last 18 years
-It currently will not turn-over(start), but the spark plugs have not been pulled to eliminate possible fluid seizure in the cylinders
-exterior has some rust around the rear fenders above the wheels, as well as on the top of one of the front fenders
-under the hood, the shock towers are showning rust close to where the fenders join

The owner would like it to go to a happy home for either restoration or to be used for parts in order to continue to further another car's life. I have attached some photos of the car. Please make an offer if interested. All offers considered!

Ditch the horrendous body kit and get some classy Euro with decent spoiler, and I would get it for $20K.

Perfect case of seriously overbuilding a car for individual taste.

truer words have never been written....I can't figure out the mentality of anyone that throws stupid money at a custom build like this with absolutely no feel for the market.....then they cry when they can't get ten cents on the dollar invested, back out of the car.

More $$$ than brains I guess...

For sale is my immaculate, 1987 Mercedes Benz 300e Florida car. This car has spent its entire life in Florida, and it shows. has 136k babied miles, and is ready for another 200k with ease. Folder full of reciepts from Palm Beach Mercedes specialists adding up to over 13,000 dollars. Low retail on this car is 4,100, I am asking 3,500. Car is in perfect shape, drives like a dream, and needs nothing. I have a much much more detailed description available to anyone interested, as well as all of the compiled reciepts on an excel worksheet.

Car is truly amazing.

Call/text 774 571 2407 with any questions.

This needed to be shared. This E28 is gorgeous. I don't know a lot about these cars as I am mostly into E30's but this car looks like it has an mtech kit on it.

I have to say, I really don't think it's that bad*. I might be interested in the car if I had a few million in the bank and had a warehouse full of cars. I don't know know if I'd pay $30k for it, but I might.

*I'd have to investigate the quality of the work before making a final determination.

I looked at the ad this morning, it's been deleted by the author now. It sure looked to be a real M535i, or one heck of a clone.

MonsterE30- 1986 BMW 325--5.0-GT45 Turbo-Built C4--Ramseys Tuned - $9000

Currently 3rd gear clutchpacks are going bad, car is running and driving, just the clutchpacks are slipping in 3rd. Hughes Race Rebuild is $297. You can get the car now as-is for $9k obo, or ill fix it and the price will go back up to $10,500 obo. id prefer the first option as i work alot and dont really have the time to drop the trans and fix it.

Looking to Sell or Trade my 86 BMW 325. within the last few months ive put about $6-7k in rebuilding this car. Car wasnt built the way i thought was satisfactory, so i took the time and money to bring the car up to my standards. I love the car to death, but im always looking for other trades. Muscle Cars, Something Built, Choppers, Sportbikes, RHD cars, pretty much anything interesting or out of the ordinary.. i know what i have into the car and i know what its worth so please dont lowball me on the price. please feel free to text me at 352-403-7013. thanks.
**BTW this is a 100% Daily Driver pump gas streetcar**

The surrounding neighborhood and beached whale caprice classic at the curb don't exactly inspire confidence either.
