E34s looking turd-ish

Love our E28, but our E34 is waaaay more car. It is more capable on the track (just seems easier to drive fast) and much more comfortable on long drives.

I do think he is off base with putting the '88's B34 in the Fiat though. I think he would find the M52 much easier. But hey, if he is offering...!

BTDT. Wouldn't recommend it. I'd turbo that big 6 instead. Not that I don't love my new gas guzzling V8, but the amount of work required to get the damn thing in there was incredible (and I actually like doing this sort of thing.)

That was my first choice. KSK convinced me to forget about it due to California smog laws. I'd have to register it out of state. Who knows....maybe I will someday.

It's been over a year now. I've learned quite a bit about handling such crazy HP. Less than 1k to go.

I used to dislike the e34, after I got the e28, which I really like, the e34 grew on me - a lot. I like them and would seriously consider one if the e28 was getting replaced. Atleast they went back to the cool way to open the hood. That's one thing I don't like about the e28.

Having driven a euro E34 M5 with the 3.8L / 6 speed combo, I can tell you nothing about this car is "turdish". Honestly, have you driven a well speced E34 or do you just detest the styling?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I'm kinda of scratching my head on what this thread is supposed to accomplish. Were you seeking our approval that you're not crazy? Believe me, just by virtue of being on this board, we're all crazy!
