Ok I'm in. Jim Bair--here's to hoping an hour from now she is sitting next to your car at the ACC car show next June.
Mark: If you were the winner, you're on. We can have an E28 "white is right" section at the show ;)

Congratulations to the seller....that has to be a near record for a non-M e28.

A very nice car with a nice price.

Sweet ride.

LOVE that car. Prefer the comfort seats personally.

Ron, why do you suppose this car was so hot but on the flipside that silver one you built out top to bottom not long ago was tough to sell? (the guy hit a financial wall prior to you finishing it)

Next time I'm out in Hermosa I'm going to come down and see you....we will do some business one day!

Cheers.

George,

Good question. The Delphin Grey car that was featured on BaT had far more done to it than this particular car, but a lot of it was done by the P.O. at his expense (and loss) and the guy I built the car for got into money troubles and needed to cut his losses. Stuart doesn't have the money problems the other guy had and I don't think he really cared about selling the car. It's much easier to get big money for a car if you just don't care if it sells or not. The Delphin car had close to 200k on the chassis, but had an M30B35 with a 284 cam and headers with an upgraded exhaust, plus the paint was stripped to bare metal, there was dynamat throughout the entire cabin, even the roof! But, the car overall was not nearly as nice as a two owner car with original paint and interior.
