Hello! Two things- first at the show on Saturday we'll need to provide two guys to assist in judging- not just for us but in the import classes as well. And secondly here's the flyer which also lists all the classes they'll be judging as a whole- you'll have to download the .pdf.

I'll be at Ofest Monday/Tuesday, doing what I never thought I would. The concours event, instead of track days and autox. Chalk it up being able to combine an away car event and family time.
I'm coming back down on Saturday for the Grove City show. Just signed up online.
Looking forward to meeting some OH addicts, and saying hi to some Houstonians.

Any Minnesota people going? I'd like to drive ViolETA, but honestly I don't think she'd make it without some sort of breakdown.

Hi guys! I got to
hang out with the O'fest crowd today and it was a great time. Looks like we're in for a nice weekend. It may rain on Friday but Saturday looks to be partly cloudy. Friday we'll leave the hotel at 9am sharp to go on our drive to make it to our tour by noon and lunch by 1pm. You'll get my address then but in case you do not PM me here and I'll send it. My phone number is at the bottom of every page on my website.
http://www.rmiddendorf.com/Welcome.html
Saturday we should also have a great event. We'll want to start rolling in around 10am so that should allow us ample time to sleep off our previous night's festivities. See ya soon!

Sorry to miss the fun.
Had to bail on O' and 5er Fests due to employer early retirement offer. Frees up next year to get my priorities straightened out. May even have the E28 running by
Vintage. Jim

Well the first day was a lot of fun... we had a great dinner with Tim and Cindy Wing, Trey, RoyW, Gary B and Phyllis, and Hunter. We're planning on leaving the Hampton Inn at 9:30am Friday morning for anyone who would like to join in on the fun- or at Malabar Farm at noon. Here are a few pics:
And the whole album:

I could make the 2hr trip tomorrow but I don't know if it will be worth it. I hope to not talk politics, except those of the politics of dancing.

Well we had a wonderful time- it was a smaller group but we made the best of it. Truthfully today we only had three E28s, one E34, a 2002tii and a Z4 ///M Coupe. The 5erFest award itself went to David Smith and his white 1988 528e. He worked so hard getting that car ready and clean he earned it. Truth be told we were worried we wouldn't want to give it out at all as Tim and I excluded ourselves since we organized the event. But thankfully David showed with the cleanest 528e I've ever seen.
Photos to come at some point. Talk soon!

Thanks to Rodney and Tim for organizing the event. Too bad it wasn't bigger, but in conjunction with the car show, It worked out great and I had a great time talking about cars.
It was such a delight being able to witness my all time favorite car (B9) in the flesh, and what a wonderful example it is!
It was a nice jesture to award me the trophy. I appreciate it.
