Since this has turned into a tiny 'Houston'-fest... I'll ask this here:
who drives the, and forgive me for getting this wrong b/c I'm kind of color-blind,... grey'ish, possibly silverish e28 that lives out towards Katy.
I've seen one on the freeway as I'm driving home (usually about 4:45ish at this point in the drive) a few times... never got really close enough to wave or otherwise get a better i.d. on the car.
I can't tell what model of 5, I just see the shape. The color, in the semi-blinding sun at that time of day, is .. I think... grey'ish or silvery (it'll probably turn out to be red or blue though!.. damn my rods and cones!!
)
It is the only e28 I've seen out that way, ever... I figure it must be someone on the board here... the chances are -at least-... 7%?

I spotted your M5 yesterday parked ramp side near your building. It looks great. I don't care for the M Parallels though. IMO, the round openings and smooth spokes don't enhance the look of the E28 body style. E28. Style 5s, 42s, 19s, 32s all seem to flow better.riverrat wrote:Interesting. Yes, I work at Hooks field. Yep...deflowered here officially.
I am working on the big issues with the car now...not a bad car on the whole, but you can definitely tell it had been in storage for a good while. Best part is the car is complete (short of a few items) and wasn't modded by previous owners. I have resurrected a lot worse than this...just have to get back in my Euro mindset.
Be good to see the other Ms in town...
