Eh it happens. I had a rent check go to Vietnam one time instead of across town. Landlord didn't believe I mailed it until he got it 3 weeks later.

A check? How quaint. ;)

Yeah, I'm not upset, It's just some stupid nonessential part for a recent acquisition. The Bell Gardens sort facility has done this to me many times before and luckily for nothing important. If anything, I should be upset with the Ebay seller. He charged double what it would have cost to send it Priority and then cheaped out.
It left PA, I wonder where its next stop will be?

YOu can report that to ebay... Shipping charge fraud is a pretty serious violation of their policy, and a pretty common tactic by people who want to give ebay less of a cut of the profits. I've reported the same in the past and ebay has refunded part of the shipping fee, and then collected said refund from the seller.

Next time you see a stupid high shipping charge, report it to ebay before you buy. They can and will force the seller to adjust it.

People shit on NY and NJ drivers all the time, but I was truly impressed with the devil-may-care exhibited by the folks on the roads in Sandy Eggo this past weekend. This video (off Jalopnik) shows a lot of dashcam videos of bad drivers in Oz. I swear I saw the mirror image of most of these events in just 3 days. Okay - it wasn't that bad. But it was like I was *surrounded* my Massholes, rather than just dealing with one at a time. I do feel sorry for those of our e28-ers that live in Massatwoshits....

What I have learned from this video is that it will be far more gratifying to curse people out in Oz-speak.

Slow-clap....."That's what you git fah bein a fuck-tahd!"

Darin had a perfect view of the dumb Lexus bitch that tried to take me and Mike out in his zinno M88 car. This was on the way back from the Saturday morning parking lot car show event. She tried to cut over to the right hand exit from the left lane as we were ascending up onto an overpass. Mike had catlike reflexes and avoided her and I watched in horror as she still did whatever the fuck she wanted anyway and pulled the bonzai move right across Darin's front end in his S52 E34 Touring.

Yep the drivers in San Diego were aggressive and idiotic.

Sure; it's black, has kind of a frame under the seat, has two fat, knobby tires and two big headlights up front. Kinda like a scooter, but with some attitude.

Took a GMC van in for service today. Filled out the questions and when asked what the problem is I wrote: "Acting funny, and I don't know why". They hate me there.

Leaving the Provincials airport in Turks and Caicos Monday with my family, I got a good laugh at the plumbing hack in the men's room. I guess tile guy and plumber couldn't agree who went first.

This guy has had these wheels listed for sale on the local craigslist for years. Sometime in 2014 I believe is when they first showed up because that would be the time when I had my E60 550i and spotted them in a craigslist search.

I've emailed him and he's a complete douche, won't negotiate, but continues to list on craigslist with the same pictures and firm price. I bet that the tires are rock hard now.

https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ ... 11444.html

For some reason this bugs me that anyone could be so dense to list something for 3 years without any change in selling methodology (price, description, pictures) or any real effort at all.

There was a guy with a 633 on CL for at least a year and a half. Same thing, same ad, same price. I never called on it though, looked ok, but not too good to pass up.

Out of dozens of cars over the years, I've only bought one brand spanking new. So why am I want two new models at the moment?

First is the Alfa Romeo guilia quadrofoggydrawers. I'm buying all the hype for some reason. The other is an "autocycle," the Polaris slingshot. I'm closer to affording the cycle. lol But I don't really need a toy that is dependent on the weather.

I was wearing my 2002 T shirt today and it seemed like everyone had to say something. One guy asked if it was an 02 or a class C? I guess new class. Then went on about how he used to have a 535. Lots of meat on those pulled pork sandwiches. A girl bagging at a grocery store asked if I had one. There were 4 or 5 people who said something.

While widely respected, nobody says anything when I wear my E28 T shirt. :(

Mike, when someone says " VW " What is your mental image? 2002 has quite a following . Deservedly so. 2k2 put BMW on the road to greatness. I'm glad I stumbled onto the Super eta when I did. And just'cuz I no longer drive one, doesnt mean I wont be driving an E28 again.

Yeah, I see where you're going. Anyway, something like this on the VW. Except with oxidized paint. I know they've got some new watercooled ones now, but say VW and I think aircooled.

... and the race is on! Every year it happens. The first year it really had me going, sounded just like a race, engines revving up and down, multiple engines. But there's no track near me. Turned out it was the inmate work crew on the hillside near me with weedeaters. 8, 10, maybe a dozen, all with weedeaters, knocking down the potential fire danger. Sounds just like a race.
