Finally made it to Trader Joe's yesterday. Their Speculoos cookie butter is scrumptilicious!!!! The Apricot jam that was on the lower shelf jumped into the basket also and needless to say is delicious also. Thank You Davintosh, thank you!

Reminds me of when my wife was in ER a few years ago. There was a crash cart there and while it was probably loaded with meds and all, the thing that caught my eye was some giant cable ties. Probably 5/8" wide. I don't even know what I'd do with them let alone what they do with them, but I wanted them. You could probably tow with those suckers.

I have many pet peeves, . . .some insignificant, some not. Don't pretend you're perfect, Pal. We all know better. Well, way up high on that pet peeve list, next to furry beavers, is not having any size left of the bar of soap when I take my nightly shower. Sometimes I get over it, can close my eyes and take a deep breath, other times I fly into a furious rage and want to Donkey Punch the housekeeper. Tonight, what do I find? Soap the size of a quarter. AN F'IN QUARTER!! So very wrong. Disrespectful.
I've had lengthy discussions with the help about my small soap situation but it seems to always fall on deaf ears. Tonight, I grabbed my beer out of the shower and marched straight over to the soap supply, unwrapped all 12 bars and stacked them neatly in a corner. Winning.
I think I just might get some sleep tonight, that is, unless I encounter a furry beaver and then it's Donkey Punch time.

Spurred on by way too many health food posts on my Facebook feed (seriously, is anybody NOT doing 21 Day Fix/Beachbody these days??) and Better Call Saul, I broke down and made some cucumber water last night. Consumption this morning reveals it to be oddly refreshing. I kinda like it.

You're welcome! Glad to spread the goodness on to another American. I'm more than a little surprised Speculoos isn't more of a thing in the US. It really is pretty good stuff!

And speaking of cookie butter, I found a recipe for making butter from any kind of cookie; haven't tried it yet, but hope to sometime soon!

That's actually not a terrible price; the Z1s over here are bringing pretty good money. One site I watch has 35 cars listed, with prices ranging from €23,000 to €125,000. And for that one you wouldn't have to mess with shipping and import to the US.

I always feel so harsh when I vote "Crack pipe" for a car but they're right, aside from the interior and exterior cosmetics (nice steering wheel tho) it's not much to speak of. It's graduation day at our school, and we have families here from all over. One of our guys is from South Africa, and his mom & brother flew in yesterday for the event. This was Mom's first time outside of SA, and she let out a squeal every time a car went past us in the other direction on the highway; she finally had to just sit in the back seat with her hands over her eyes. I felt a little bad for thinking it was kinda funny. Just a little.

I kind of inherited a 1945 Kellogg heavy duty 80 gallon or so air compressor. It makes compression and the motor is quiet spinning it by hand. I was told it was scrap. Should I make a build thread about it here? I'm sure I'll spend just as much $ as buying a equivalent part at the box store, but then I couldn't say I have a 71 year old compressor that makes cool noise.

I went out last Friday to go to a dam by my house to "base jump/swim" from a dilapidated and decommissioned bridge. There's a tributary leading from a pond in my neighbors yard that feeds into the little Kentucky river right across the street, which goes into the Ohio River and further along into the Mississippi. By the dam, is a low land basin. The temp/sun/weather was just right and it was acres of fog settling down into the basin. The sunset was beaming through with huge bursts of pink and purple. These pictures do no justice but it's still a little bit kinda cool I guess.
