I porpously bought 2 cans of Hormel tamales for my road trip to Myrtle Beach tomorrow. I wanted to have them for breakfast, and even avoided dinner tonight to save space for that delicious breakfast, but now I have a bunch of un-expected (and unwelcomed) guests in the car.
Will they judge my breakfast options? Can I still text and tamale?!? Will some NPR help my passengers overlook the tamale eating and texting? Will there be Bjork?

I bought a burrito in London today I was in a hurry and it was next door to my building. From a place called the BurritoBar. Looked like a Chipotle. Acted like a Chipotle.

Tasted like crap.

I was thinking about a place I went to all the time when I lived in London because I recently came across a credit card statement from 1989 and it shows I ate there twice in four days. It was right before I moved back to San Diego so maybe I was just trying to get my fix in before leaving.

The guy handling my wheel polishing is stalling.

He's saying he's had this center in the rough cut polisher for 18 hours, and I believe him..





It was super rough after stripping- over 2 weeks ago. It took two weeks and 18 hours of putting it into a vibratory polisher that does the work for him, to figure this out.

The problem is the polish guy is used to BBS RS centers that take 8 hours total. My center is taking 3 times as long, and still isn't going to be up to par unless manual labor is added.

It started off being a deal for $100 a center, then because it was a single center it's now $125, and he still hasn't asked for more $ but he is asking me if it's ok to send it through the rest of the polishing stages with it having all those pits in the lug area. He's saying he doesn't know what to do.

If I was there, I could knock down all those pits in 30 minutes with 280-400-600 grit sand paper. Then another hour in the rough cut to get it back to even.

I understand I'm putting more wear on his machines than the BBS wheels usually take. But seriously, tell me it's going to take a month after stripping the paint in the first day of it being there and seeing what the bare center looks like, or send it back. Poor business communication IMO. At least he hasn't damaged the center by going over board. I respect him, just don't favor it.
Told ya'll 3-4 years ago, it wouldn't be easy to find somebody to polish these centers.

We were in Copenhagen last summer, at Tivoli Gardens on the afternoon of a Snoop Dogg show. The locals were getting seated early and looking forward to the show. Some of them anyhow. Admittedly, during the afternoon there were many older Danes sitting around asking "Snoop who?"

Funny, the best burger I think I've had was at The Great American Disaster, a burger restaurant in London in the early 70s, when a hamburger in England was typically, the near inedible Wimpy burger.

I could find somebody to do it, but it would probably cost $200 a piece, and we'd have to make a shift lever that would accept the threads. It would've course be 3x as thick as a regular bulb.

Sounds like someone didn't get a slice of pie today.

Mine was raspberry with some vanilla ice cream on the side. Delicious. No whipped cream though.

i get to work at 7, work 8 hours, then drive an hour to go to school and get home at 7. i do this 4 days a week. thank god its my last semester, who needs a mechanical engineer?

Sounds like a manager with a crew doing 4-10s with a bit of a commute. You get there first, leave last, that's the way it works. 12 hours, portal to portal. No biggie. Did it for a decade.
