Pluto here we come
Re: The Thread of Randomness. . .
I will be left all alone on Saturday. It's kinda like a dog plotting and eyeballing that weak part in the fence for people like me. I shall break shit.
Re: The Thread of Randomness. . .
Today we had an hour long meeting to talk about how our company's new 'Vision Plan' applies to the engineering department.
Re: The Thread of Randomness. . .
Mamas in the basement mixin up the medicine, I'm in the alley way thinkin bout the government .. Another tooth went bad and I'm home enjoying poor health. I'm cruising in a warm fuzzy haze with the help of a 5-325 on top of my daily happy pill. Later on I will take the wall oven apart to see if it can be fixed after a total failure 3 wks ago. Later on, I will visit my mother . That Russian ATV is the bee's knees.

Woke up around 11 and had some Nilla wafers for breakfast. Now it's out to the garage to drink beer and listen to loud music. . . see where my A.D.D. takes me.oldskool wrote:I will be left all alone on Saturday. David Bowie just croaked and I hear Glen Frey bought a Farm too. Sammy Hagar is the same age and is making Tequila. Let that marinate for a little bit. . .

I trot out the old "Yes. Yes I am." line every now and again. Nobody gets it anymore though.Karl Grau wrote:I told them my name was Doctor Galazkiewicz.

When I look at a photograph I see a histogram.
Re: The Thread of Randomness. . .
Some people never change.
I worked at a hospital in the late 80s, early 90s. The, not a, radiologist, drove a beat up diesel Rabbit. High profile, high paying job. Looked like an old man then. Saw him yesterday at the local Home Depot. Turns out he's only 80 now and I swear he doesn't look a day over 90. Loading up fenceboards in a beat up Prius. Cracked taillight, dented and off by an inch on that corner bumper. Just a ratty Prius. Talked with him a bit, more than the 7 years I worked there but then again radiologists and electricians don't always hang together. But 25 years later he's still driving a ratty example of the (nominally) most fuel efficient car out there.
Like I said, some things never change.

I want a e9 coupe so bad it hurts.
Re: The Thread of Randomness. . .
I'm writing a book: How I stopped hurting for an E9 and learned to live vicariously through Mike Burger. The book signing will be at Karl's house next week.86GT635 wrote:I want a e9 coupe so bad it hurts.
Re: The Thread of Randomness. . .
It would be awesome to come see the cars and hit the links on the pacific coast next week. I'm excited to go see a flock of e9s, e24s and e31s at Southeast Sharkfest in Chattanooga the last weekend of next month. Anybody here going? It's the 40th anniversary of the e24 this year.
Re: The Thread of Randomness. . .
With every E9 I check out, I get less and less interested. The E28 really is the best BMW.
Re: The Thread of Randomness. . .
The coupes have always looked better, the sedans have always been better cars. Think E3/E9, E28/E24. No question the Bavaria was a better car than a 2800CS or 3.0CS. And the Bav also has a resale value about one tenth of what the E9 does. Maybe. E28/E24 isn't as dramatic, but the coupe is going up much faster than the sedan.wkohler wrote:With every E9 I check out, I get less and less interested. The E28 really is the best BMW.
Models get paid more than book keepers. Always have, always will.
Re: The Thread of Randomness. . .
I think the E3 looks better personally.
