I can't seem to get a answer on transfer function. Seems to vary a little from what they claim.

i dont really have any problems with my aem and there is no need for open air recalibration due to built in resistors.i do find however that it always reads a bit leaner in ts then it reads on the gauge, usually around .2 leaner but not horrible.

If you look back in my thread i bought and used a JAW wbo2 very briefly, I seen a deal on my old LM-1 I couldn't refuse so I sold it. I will say this about it, it was so far the only out of (soon to be 4) wideband controllers I had that was dead on perfect with MS.

They have new stuff now too, looks more advanced and offers datalogging for those not running MS.

Well the car is all buttoned up and back together, drove it~200kms since and mechanically things look good, only thing is the car is running with a slight miss on one of the cylinders, it feels just like my b34 did before i swapped out the set of 36lb injectors for the 42s. At low loads and in boost you can tell the car feels sluggish and lazy and doesn't get as good mileage. when i was in the middle of the swap i dropped one on a carpet floor but hope they arent faulty.

Im going to open the box and check the injector wiring but other than that is there any other ways i can check the injectors without removing em?

EDIT: opened the box this morning to see the #5injector plug loose and not connected!!!! The injector was not straight so they didn't line up. Plugged it in and fired it up, nice and smooth. Had to go so I couldn't test it out!

A question for you aem users, what calbraition in TS are you using to set it up?

I made it out to a euro car show last sunday, tuning it on the way..somebody mangaged to snag a pic:

Still got some tidying to do but looks better than before with the harness box!

edit:As you can see as well, being fed up with spark plug wires and them failing i went back to the stock dizzy and coil setup..In the end it keeps it simple for me and will be up to the task for the boost levels I plan to run.

I went to the dyno yesterday, I got off really late from work and the only place that i could get to was the first place i went to which is 1-2mins from my house. They have had a rep for have a shitty pick up on their dyno and it happened again, their pick up couldn't properly pick up the RPM and was reading 200rpm less. The operator tried to blame it on my wires but then i told him they were 2 months old and he just gave up on trying to fix it after that.

Because of the crappy pickup i couldn't get a proper tq reading but the HP numbers are legit because they were the same as the other shop i went to last time.

my first run (street tune) i made 327.36whp at 12psi
second run(advanced the timing a bit) it jumped to 340.11whp

I did another run and it pinged so i pulled the timing back around 5-5200rpms and it made 332.86whp and i left the timing there to get the afr's as nice and flat as i could as my inital street tune had the fuel going super rich(10.6afr) after 5k to redline. leaned it out a bit too much so i just added a bit more by hand and called it a night since i was disappointed i couldn't see the TQ numbers. Last time i'll be going there....

Oh this was on shell/chevron?? 91 octane no ethanol. On a Dynojet.

Good numbers man!

I'm having an issue with idle... what are you using for idle control?

I thought you were running wasted spark? Looks you're back to stock dizzy?

Yeah I went back to stock, was having ignition issues and going back to stock eliminated a few problems so i'm going to stick with it.

I'm not using any form of idle control beside adjusting the throttle plate a bit at idle.

Give me a dyno sheet and I'll calculate the torque for you. If it is in mph instead of RPM, let me know your gearing and tire size.

Use the stock valve! Cold starts are terrible with no valve :(

I know i should use the stock valve, but the MS works so good thanks to peter i don't even want to open it to do anything....lol...so i'll probably send my MS to him again when winter comes and he'll add the GG board and install w/e components are needed because i think i skipped on the idle control stuff.

here's the chart mooseheadm5 if you could calculate the TQ that would be great! As you can see the chart is in mph..my tire size is a 215/45/16 and i'm running a 3.73.

Tinnnnnny update.

I bought a GG idle board today. Hope the basic things are there to have idle control on my board since from day 1 i never cared about it...i got tons of ICV's around the house so it'll be fun getting it to work and finally having nicer cold starts!

If anyone has any tips let me know! As it stands I don't know a thing about setting up the ICV but I'm resarching at the moment!
