Yep, that's the same seller. He goes by "euroclassicmotors" on this board, and "First e28 M5" on the "m5board".
Mechanically, he's smart about these cars. So my question is, why wouldn't an enthusiast list their car for sale on the boards they're a member of, if everything is what it's claimed to be?
I had been searching for a low mile example for almost a year. I missed out on the one David (GaAlpinaOwner) bought, so when I saw this listed for no reserve, and what David's M5 had been listed for, I acted.
I had just returned from vacation 3 days prior to auction end, so a PPI wasn't in the cards, and another bummer, I didn't know of this sight at the time to ask if anyone in the area could check it out for me.
I only had to go on the seller's word, and if you read the rust thread, he gave the same spiel to NZfiver, whom unbeknownst, I was bidding against.
In the end, the ///M is in the good hands of RonP, and the S38 will be making all those glorious sounds from within a euro shell.
To the seller, I think it's safe to say you've been exposed, karma's a bitch, ain't it?
