Very nice car! I used to live near Palm Harbor too, really nice area. Seeing that car, I'd be real proud to own a "nice" e28. I'd snatch it up but finances do not allow. Stick around when ya move, sounds exciting!

Still for sale, the interest has been a little sparse, so it'll be going on craigslist and autotrader in the next few days. :(

Sorry to hear that you're leaving us, Glen. I've enjoyed the times we've hung out. I have always LOVED your E28 and if my wife hadn't lost her job, I'd be all over it. Best of luck and don't be a stranger.

Damn, if only you were closer, I'd very seriously consider it. I'm in Seattle, and looking for a nice E28 535is or M5. I like the Euro look. I used to have an '79 E21 323i that was an Alpina setup. I really miss that car. Anyway, if you find a way to fold space/time, give me a shout.

Glen, sad to hear you are leaving. That is one of the best E28s I've been in. I loved the drive up lookout mountain in it back in Chattanooga. Hopefully somebody bites soon. You should definitely get some new photos up soon, as I'm sure that might be what's holding some people back. Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for the kind words buddy, I only regret I don't have more photos from that mountain drive, that was an awesome trip!

How do you mean new photos? All of them were shot within the last 2 months.

Sorry, missed the link. I'm pretty sure that people from BaT.com missed it too, since I saw a comment about a lack of photos. But now that I see the link, never mind.

Updated and relisted again.

If it is unsold by the 10th, it'll be driven up to my inlaws in Ohio after we vacate our place in FL.

So if you have any interest and you're en route or closer to Ohio than FL, then we might be able to work something.

Price is revised to $6500 again, but, includes wheel setup.

Shoot, that makes it a lot more tempting. Hey Rodney, want to go 50/50 on this? I never liked Zinno, but I do like everything else.

Tempting my friend, however I really don't need another E28 that's so similar to Bandit. If I were to get a different E28 it would either have the M30B35 in it, have a legitimate factory ///M on it, or have Hartge or Alpina written on the back.

Plus I'm still eyeballing a certain E24...

Hey Glen,

I hope the new owner will make his presence known here and let us know what he's up to with your gorgeous 5er. He certainly got one helluva a nicely preserved e28 and the BBS wheels that complete it (visually).

It has been my distinct pleasure to share several long journeys with you in this vehicle (5erFest 2006, 5erFest 2011 / PVGP 2011). I am sure you will miss it but I am hoping that you'll be able to secure a RHD successor now that you're returning home to Australia.

Bon voyage to you and your lovely bride my friend. My family and I hope we'll have the opportunity to visit you two sometime in the future. I'd really like to test drive an RHD e28 someday and perhaps visit Tasmania too...

The new owner has an 84 Hartge already in the garage, so I think she's in good hands.

Glen

Just found out tonight from BronzitBill that your car was for sale and of your moving. Your car always caught my eye when I happened to see you traveling down McMullin Booth. It always stood out !! Glad to see that your car sold, sorry to hear of your leaving.

Safe travels and Best of Luck back home in Australia!

Glenn it has been great getting to know you. I recall your first drive with our little group. Fun times.
I wish you and your wife the very best the world has to offer. Take care and dont be a stranger. Oh buy the way I only know one other guy with an e28 passion who has an 84 hartge in his garage but the hartge is a 7 series... Could he be the new buyer??? I hope so cause he needs a car that runs..LOL
