Can you do me a favor and explain more about your suspension? I know you mentioned somewhere else that you spent $1,000 for GC coilovers and Spax shocks so is this what you got?

That link you listed is just the sleeves and springs only, no shocks and nothing included for the install on the front struts that have to be cut, welded and fabricated. The Ground Control kit is not a "all-inclusive" kit for the e28 and e24, there is more involved then what GC sells. I am pretty sure he also running camber plates and possibly the rear upper mounts for the GC setup.

Camber plates are another $300 and the rear shock mounts are $120. Ground Control is not a "cheap" coilover by any means. It is one of the best, most customizable setups available. Especially for older cars without many other options.

$1000-1200 is the expected price to pay for a well done complete Ground Control coilover setup.

this is true. I am luck enough to have a good friend who is a fabricator and just welded the new perches for me.

I am not running camber plates or the heavy duty mounts yet but they are definitely on the to do list in the future.

That's what I meant in my previous post. Do it yourself for about a G. Double it if someone is charging you shop rates to do it for you...
