Masking off takes more time than unscrewing a few bolts, plus you have to pay for the masking type.
took me 10 min to mask, but i'm a veteran spray painter ;)

the first time i replaced my low beams, it was WAY more hassle than it should've been. for whatever reason, i couldn't get them to tighten back on correctly or straighten and the yellow tightening knobs were really inconvienent for my hands. i didnt feel like taking it all apart when i could've done it with way less work. plus i would've had to mask off the metal surround on the headlight Anyway....so it definitely would've taken longer.

this seriously took me 15-20 min total. tons of masking tape laying around + newspaper = profit for me. whatever floats your boat, though.

look at my sig. Those are Bosch high beams off of a mercedes not lamenex (or how ever you spell it).

my old sig, i used a spray on film which fades after a while, but i bought some yellow headlight film from ebay for 18$ and just finished my fogs, high beems are next :)
