I saw a 528e going fast. That's unusual, right?

Hey watch it I resemble that statement!

OTOH, that is the only unsual car I saw today, a 528e, and it was in my back yard, and not moving. I can't remember the last out of ordinary car I have seen here in no man's land...there was a Porsche this winter driving around, new and turbo - I never got the model. Oh, I did see a pickup that had the factory bed removed and very creative built-in tool bed with steel mesh like material over the back window. I thought - "Huh, I could use that protection over my own truck's rear window." Crazy schtuff!

Well technically it was Wednesday, but I'll go anyway. Went by a repair shop out by the river, it's kind of a depressed area, but quirky, not bad. Anyway, there were 3 2002s and a E9 CS out there. The E9 was a recent addition, 2 of the 3 02's had tarps over them and are waiting for the next flood to finally put out of their misery. Maybe I'm just cynical, but my money says all of them aspire to be parts cars.

Hey Ron, it was therapy , even etas need an occasional Italian tuneup! B6II benefited almost as much as I did from the 15 mile treatment runs. It will go 70 in 2, and 105 in 3 at the rev limiter.

I don't know how rare, or odd, but there's a Bavaria running around town. Green car, older gentleman. 2500 is the plate...

I saw a stock 1980 Toyota Corolla 2 door coupe. It was the low rider of choice in the 80s! They've pretty much all rusted out around these parts.

Mercedes 450SEL 6.9. King of the Autobahn 4 doors for a while, probably until M5s came out. Looked pretty clean with no plates and a paper sticker in the window.

All good finds gentlemen. I 'd say the Corolla coupay is the rarest of the 3 survivor-wise . One of those cars that wasn't missed until they were gone.

Pink '59 Cadillac.

Probably one of the ugliest cars I've seen in a while. It was in really nice shape, and a Mary Kay car. Damn thing looks like a jukebox.

Oh, I also saw an F01 Alpina B7. Not far behind the Cadillac as far as ugliness goes.

Pink 59 Caddy is so outrageous , it is iconic. Like faux wood station wagons from the the same era.

If it was black, and really clean, it was me. Now that most of the salt has washed away, I've been driving it. Now that an ice racing season is all but impossible, I think it's ready for my summer wheels/tires.

I want to play.....

Thursday Morning was a very nice late 80's (86-87??) Lamborghini Countach - white with red interior....driver was very nervous in rush hour traffic - dealer plate.

On the way home that night, I saw a pristine 1978ish Mercury Marquis Brougham in an unusual green - Sea Foam like...car was sweet. Had Dayton like wheels and Vogues, but very tasteful and not over-sized. Car was just gliding along.....looked very majestic.

All the other stuff mentioned is pretty regular in Dallas, except that Gordini....one was on BaT recently though....

Sunday I walked past a rust free, 4 door, 1974 Maverick. I suspect the original owners given their age. Completely stock down to the boring Ford hubcaps.

Reliant Robin haha, F01 Alpina B7, Dark Blue e46 m3 with carbon fiber accessories, CTS-V, E90 M3 ZCP, a few Ferrari's(20 at the dealership, 5 or so on the roads), my brothers clean e30 325i :) , e34 m5, e39 m5, Ford Lighting, clean 1976(?) 2002 automatic, lowered e30 4 door(late bumpers), E60 M5, Maserati quattroporte.

Those are within the last 2 or 3 days. I keep my eyes peeled at all times. HAHA.

Relatively good weekend.

Haha, no! There is one a few blocks away. The owner also has another 3 wheeled one but I don't know what it is.

Citroen DS. Rear suspension was really moving around a lot.

Also saw a Pugeot 504. Weird. Two French cars in one day.

Oh, and a Volvo 122s 2-door.

Then I came home and saw my 1977 M3.
