My former 635CSi (Gray635's former car) was a terrific example, but the comfort seats killed my back. Beautiful example Mark. Can't believe it hasn't sold.
Well... I'm telling ya', you can always pick up a set of black sport seats
Sounds like a good Winter project for a guy in Wisconsin. What else you gonna do? Snowshoe?
...no...I'm Ok with the comfort seats ;) The idea is for YOU to buy the car and pick up a set of seats <laughs>.

Yah, WI is no fun in the winter. Lived here all my life and I still hate winter!

I lived in Chicago for a while and served a client in Omaha. That's why I live in Florida. I got the idea, just a gentle nudge as I have no project time. I am kind of a turn key guy at this point. Let me know when you find the sports seats and get them covered in new hide. Heated would be nice and a euro rear sunshade would be good too.

As I have worked most the year in Europe and Dubai, I can only imagine as well! I will get back there in January at least. All kidding aside, it's a beautiful car. If I had it to do over again, I would have kept my E24 and found a set of sports seats. I am guessing it's not a big thing to change them out.

Actually it's quite easy. The previous owner had a full sport interior in red that he used to have in the car. When I bought it I wasn't too keen on the red/black combination so I kept only the original interior. But he used to go back and forth all the time - pretty straight forward. [/quote]

I don't show up often in this forum, but since I'm here, and since I've seen Mark's gorgeous car, I've gotta give it a bump. Somebody needs to have this car and keep it as nicely as he has.

Sorry, mate. It has been sold, and I think you know the new owner. ;-)

I said I was going to pull my ads, didn't I. As soon as I get back home! :)

I know, I just couldn't resist it - I took my eyes from the Lord and Satan crept into my heart as they say.

New York State Troopers aren't going to get what hit them when that sixer comes in on their tails, headlights flashing and horn blaring - "You're in my way".......... and I just know they'll move over, though it may be temporary.

Thanks guys :)

Well, the car is officially sold. I appreciate all the interest and admiration. This is truely a special car, and I'm confident the guy that it's going to is going to treat it as such.

Mark - now E24'less...

I hope the new owner brings this beautiful specimen to The Vintage/Sharkfest in North carolina on Memorial Day weekend. I would love to see it in person. My L6 needs inspiration!
