so whats up in tha VA latly. Im really tired of snow here, once again 2 - 3 inches today. now i have absolutly no traction. I just drive everywhere sideways and people are scared to drive beside me.

I'd be scared to drive besides you with traction. We got a lot of snow here, plus grammar doesn't matter when your drunk.

I don't think fairly stock 535i's were known for being quick. Race you on an autocross track.

LOL at bornagain. I have been sideways around here quite a bit, many times without trying. Lots of ice. Many people here in VB don't know how to drive in the snow/ice.

And Scott... really... who gives a shit about the autocross track? Does this somehow make you better than him somehow?

yeah my front shocks are blown but i have replaced all the steering and suspension in the front, running h&r's need to get my billy sports rebuilt but i dont know anywhere around here that does that or have other ones to put in the car while thee others are being rebuilt. Going to go with the IE poly rear sub bushings and the camber caster adjustment peices. But im really seriously contemplating just going for the full ground control setup with full IE poly bushings and rear adjustment peices.

besides i have driving skill. i rally my car in the summer and when i had my integra i used to track it at the stratotech track we have here in fort sask. its a tight track meant for moto gp and it takes some skill to drive.

I plan to do some of hte bmw driving stuff for my birthday coming up. I purchased some k-mac camber plates from Peter a while back. I plan to put htem on stock struts, till I order the IE adjustable perchs, and get some 2.5" od 7" springs. I was planning on running 450 front and like 350 rear. My tires are stretched, so when they become worn out, i'll be purchasing a set of 245's. I think camber plates would help the most, it plows a lot in the corners.

Um... what job do YOU have to pay for all that stuff? And yes they do... even if you do have a job. You have no bills, no rent/mortgage, no real responsibility. Try getting out in the real world and you will know what it is like to sacrifice to even buy replacement parts for a car.

i personally hate having a car that is faster then it can handle. I raced a mercedes amg through the mountains, playing with him on my way to vancouver and he couldnt keep up when i stepped on it but when i hit 220 kmh i just didnt feel confident with the setup even though the engine just wanted to keep going.

I work on cars for a living too. You two need to figure things out. I wish i had anyone close to me that is into BMW's like i am. I am seriously one of a kind here. I dont think there is another 533 in alberta besides mine, let alone edmonton. There is one guy with a e30 super eta running 34#'s of boost locally. But we havent really connected. To be honest my best car friends are running VW's its a lonly world for me.

There are BMW people here, almost all the ones I know autocross. The ones that seem to go to meets are generally in newer models.

haha i like it, still wish i had car friends here that were in to things as much as i am, and can contribute. I just finished helping my friend tyson install V3.57 with ms/x code 2.1.1b on his 91 jetta running custom log intake with a t60-1 turbo, should be running 450 whp by the end of the summer, he has a fully built bottom to put in as soon as he blows this one.
