Actually, that was my way of saying I'm thankful for our history as a nation. Many people these days aren't. We all remember learning about the Thanksgiving story in school, but we only heard the sanitized version. The whole story is part of our history. If we had no history, where would be be today? Sure, things happen that we might not be particularly proud of, but we cannot dwell on them or forget them either.

Sorry if it was deemed offensive, but it seemed like a more interesting way to say I was thankful for our history.

I had a question to ask, but this thread is not the place for it, so I'll leave it out.
My brother,

I did not dwell on it, I mentioned it because most people don't even know the history involved. I then moved on to current things. Go back and read my original post.

YOU focused on it.

Feel free to ask any reasonable question, and if I have an answer for it I'll provide it.

My pal,

This is not your thread, and since the question has nothing to do with Thanksgiving, I'm not going to ask it here.

That's cool my brother. By your post I couldn't tell whom you wanted to address your question.

I am thankful that I am NOT vacationing in India and that America is as seemingly safe from Terrorism as it is..

Also, my wonderful family, college education, the opportunity to study in the Netherlands, the fact that I can eat food when I want, and that my foot/body wasn't more injured when I got hit by the car on my bike.. I'm thankful that be breathing!!!

Happy Day After Thanks Giving!!

I am thankful for:

Jesus Christ
My Wife
My family
My health
My Country

And, last but certainly not least, I am especially thankful for the men and women that serve our nation in the armed forces. I am forever greatful for the lives you have sacrificed for my freedom in this wonderful country. From the bottom of my heart. Thank You!
