Interesting..... since this is exactly the attitude that gets people into accidents. Feeling superior to others on the road or track is very dangerous. Yes, I am a confident driver. Yes, I can drive very well. Yes, I know about vehicle dynamics, maintenance and upgrades (and can maintain my own cars), but I don't take risks on the street or the track. That's a formula for disaster! Whether I'm driving my Ferrari, AC cobra, Mini Cooper S, Austin Healey, MG or my lowly BMW's (Alpina or others) I know the limits of the car I'm in and know how far I can take it safely. I rarely even on the track push the limits much over 90% of the cars ability and there are some cars I've never explored the limits that far. Most of my cars are somewhat expensive and I treat them well. I drive them fast, yes, but treat them with respect. To do otherwise is foolish. Know the limits of your car, your skills and the conditions you are driving in. If not, you'll be sorry!Bimmerguy2002 wrote: If you think you arent the best driver out there, and have been on a track thats pretty sad because what you are talking about as far as driving is just going to the grocery store, i guess you yack on the cell phone and have no situational awareness
