you see, if I stop the paypal dispute, you don't have to pay me squat. and thats what you want. Then I cannot re-open the case. tell you what, you have 20 days (thru paypal) to send the payment and I will end the dispute. I'm not trying to get over on anyone. all I wanted was a head and I did my part by paying you. as far as i'm concerned, the ball seems to be in your court as you took me for my money and left my car dangling on a lift waiting for parts. sure doesn't give me much to look forward to on this forum. luckily there are honest-to-goodness members around willing to lend a hand and not take anybody for a ride, I must have experienced the bad side too soon.

Buyer escalated this dispute to a Claim.
From Buyer: ali j yetgen on 6/27/2008 13:20 PDT
The seller claims that they found the package at a fedex warehouse in INDIANA waiting for a damage claim. I asked for a shipping number and none was provided. here is one of the responses I got from the seller: "ok, i just got off the phone with them, the fucking bastards have had it for 1 week filing a damage report. It was damaged, and its in indiana. the moron said it is being sent back to me. yes you can get your money back. BUT the problem is I DONT HAVE ANY MONEY, i can go ahead and go with the paypal thing. but if they take the money my bank wont allow the transfer to be completed so you wont get any money back, and we will just both be yelling at each other. it was insured so you will get your money back. AS SOon as i get the check back from Fedex. that is if they dont play games with me. so im hoping you can be understanding. and help me get threw this together, with this issue. because if two people are upset at them. that would help the cause. Thank you eric 480-444-8634 I have waited long enough for my part, and without a shipping number I am left in the dark. I don't know if what he says is truthful. I can only assume so. and so far all I can assume is that he doesn't have the means to ship the package or send my money back.
From Buyer: ali j yetgen on 6/25/2008 10:58 PDT
I hate to do this, but I have not received my cylinder head from the ebay auction that I have won. I paid the total via paypal on May 21st. I have sent messages to the user about receiving the parts and got a lot of promises about how the head was shipped weeks ago. I did not receive any shipping information other than the seller saying they shipped it thru Fedex. When I asked for a shipping number, the user would not give me any information and would give excuses that the information got lost or that they couldn't find it. I have waited long enough.

Just a couple of dates from this thread I found interesting
From the PayPal Dispute history: Transaction Date: May 21, 2008
From the tracking number posted by Vatoloco: Jun 10, 2008 8:35 PM Arrived at FedEx location PHOENIX, AZ
Twenty calendar days to ship? I'd be raising hell and filing a dispute also.

Vatoloco is not a bad guy, you have understand that some shipment woes happen from time to time. Maybe the communication was not the best here, it happens when people are busy. (A few people on this board have had to wait because of me, and i have the same happen to me)
I hope you guys can work this out and will stop posting every little line on the board....its quite boring....
chill out please

If it's so boring to you, why are you reading it and why are you posting popcorn smileys? Doesn't seem like you're helping.

Well I shipped Alijonny an extra head I had in the shop (some of you you might remember me running across the yard with it to swap out with Vances Hartge head in the back of his truck Karma ). Anyhow I dropped it off at Fedex Monday and shipped it via Fedex ground and he received the shipment today. I hope the machine shop says it's a good head and Alijonny can get his 535is back on the road. Problems do happen when shipping stuff but waiting to drop it off at Fedex twenty days after immediate payment was made is inexcusable Imho.

Just so you all know, His payment was not immediate, it took 1 week.
i have no problem, that he opened the dispute, the problem i have is that he didnt wanna help himself, and couldnt just do this threw paypal, like a adult. Brought all this drama here like we were both in High school all over again Also called me a lier, when i had proof, but couldnt produce it. I Told you i had it, and when i did produce it all i got was a "Go f*&k yourself"
how old are you? 18?
Whatever lets move on. Money will be there tommrow. Now lets see how Honest you really are.
just as you speak of karma, it will come for you too my friend.
yea my grammer sucks, but i did everything except ship it on time. and you make it like i stole your car or screwed your daughter.
have a great day.

We need a smiley for drama.

I believe that's what the popcorn smiley is. Hopefully this is over, though and people can go back to settling their disputes (or in this case "disutes") like adults and stop the name-calling. This thread was fine until the two parties started slinging mud and others get involved with their popcorn BS. As far as I'm concerned, that emoticon creates more problems than necessary, at least in the way most choose to use it.
Honestly, I think all the communication between the buyer and seller should have been done in private. I just don't get the point of these threads. There's always two stories and a thread like this can unfairly prejudice future purchasing or sales strategies. It goes both ways.

I do too.
i've been burned too many times on the internet to stay quiet while someone gets away with fraud. Everything you were doing up to the point of actually producing a tracking number related to a scheme. The paypal account doesn't even belong to you, you took extra long to ship the part, and offered "goodies" in order for me to keep my mouth shut. You are roughly 2,000 miles away from me and in my eyes I felt you were getting away with this unless I blew my horn. how interesting it was that with all this open forum bickering you found the shipping number JUST TO PROVE I WAS WRONG TO EVERYONE ELSE.

To the people who care,I just got off with fedex for the 4th time including the original call. Fedex has admitted they dont know where the package is, and a Claim has been filed, Since the Kinkos i shiped it from is not open 24 hours, I will be going first thing in the morning,to finsh the paperwork.
