I wouldnt worry about the seals in the turbo. They're just like little piston rings. They shouldn't be damaged from a little leakage. Just fix the oil drain problem and you should be alright.
I wouldnt sweat the HG damage either. Make sure you torque the new one properly and it should be fine.

Cool, I have a list on my wall of business who do substandard work, ruin engine components with bad machine work, do not do work paid for and then charged me over $8000 with no warranty................the list is short, TCD.

I'll stick with "claims" because it is none of my business. I was not involved in any of the said tranactions, so I cannot attest to fact or otherwise. I would rather stay out of it. You asked a question and I provided one possible answer.
BTW, Hylomar is great stuff, I used it in my engine build, and so far no leaks...I would highly recommend it. I've never heard of it being used on a headgasket, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen...

Our flanges are all water jet cut unless you got an older one. We went to the water jet because we weren't happy with the aesthetics of the previous flanges. The one you chose to buy and keep was sitting around for a long time for a reason.

It means they know it was of substandard quality and assumed by using said term you understood as well.
Maybe very much like it was understood that Duke has a clue about what he is doing other than having incredible skill at writing checks and bad tuning... ohh and excuse making, blaming others, and giving up a failure

Yes I understand 2nd, If it was a problem I would have returned it. If need be I will machine a better mounting base. Like I said general observation, obviously was pre-water jet.

Yea, damn right. Todd wanted to replace the head with a junk yard B34 that the same machine shop that screwed up the Hartge head worked on. I passed.
TCD is responsible for the machine shop work that he sub contracted and billed me on a TCD invoice for.
Todd never offered to have the car returned to his shop and fixed correctly, I had to do all of the work (including fixing all of the oil leaks from the TCD engine build) of replacing two head gaskets and all I was offered was a lousy head gasket.
Sweeney, you don't have even half the story.

Todd had built several cars and engines yet you (the one whose engine has blown over and over) are the only one blaming Todd for selling defective goods. Your's is the poorest performing TCD car ever. Worse than 250K mile cars, worse than even cars with unknown junkyard engines. IT even performs worse than my car when I first turboed it 6 years ago from obsolete old forgotten junk.
You were great at hocking parts from Germany. Todd is great at building turbo cars.

Back to the original post. Did this colt have a huge "Westside" decal on the back window? If so, I saw that car run at the GRM $2006 Challenge and it is a rocket. I'm very impressed if you were hanging with that machine.

I can't say. It was white. The guy sounded like he knew his stuff when it came to racing. He has a friend that gives him his old track tires- says he's got like 10 sets around.
I was actually doing a datalog and had all my enrichments turned off at the time. I didn't think anything of the car when he pulled up next to me. I dropped down to fourth at about 45mph and thought that would do it. The car just flew by like I was stopped! Second time around I was more serious and held in there pretty good. I think he was pulling on me at the end, but my stupid 3.73's are the reason.

The funny thing is, I just had to put an alt. on this car Fri. and today I went to get my truck out to start driving it and the starter is out!
3.25 gives a theoretical top speed of about 200 mph, so you won't run out of gear. No point in going taller unless you're having major wheelspin problems in 3rd and 4th (you're going to spin in 1st and 2nd no matter what).
