I'm still not convinced ChefShawn's steering wheel is a genuine ALPINA wheel. He never posted a high resolution, close up shot showing the stitching on the wheel. The color of the stitching will tell a knowledgable ALPINA enthusiast if the steering wheel is the real deal or simply a ALPINA badged Momo steering wheel.

I doesn't matter with the ALPINA steering wheels produced by Momo. They use a Nabe (steering wheel mount) that is specific to the application. Any steering wheel produced by Momo can be adapted to the early or later splines by simply acquiring the correct Nabe.
